Menthol snuff, medicated snuff

Hello guys i wonder if someone could know about this, is menthol snuff good for stoping runny nose like forever and enjoying other types of snuff with no problem, and is all menthol snuff a medicated snuffs , thank you guys

Different people react to menthol in different ways - I find it makes my nose run (but so do all snuffs!) As to mentholated v. medicated… I can’t think of a medicated snuff that doesn’t have menthol but they generally have camphor or eucalyptus in addition. However, there are lots of snuffs that have menthol but are in no way like a medicated snuff. Does that help?

Yes It does justin, i have that same issu with all kind of snuffs and i go back to smoking after i use snuff for a while, cause it bothers me a lot to blow my nose all the time, its even embarrassing sometimes lol  but you know maybe it could be one day when that nose get use to it or something, but the problem is not even all of this cause when snuff is blowed you feel like losing the Benefits of it and you do it again and again… But snuff to be successful should be keeped in the nose that’s all im saying, if it get runny there is no benefit of it, but some people seem to be successful at keeping it i wonder how they do that  with my nose its like impossible, thank you bro

That’s it, you draw some in and it goes out. Same with every nose. With most snuffs (it’s not limited to the medicated ones) more or less heavy (depending on a particular snuff and dose size) drip starts pretty much instantly. Snuff is just an alien body in your conk and it does its best at removing it with a flow of mucus. There’s no other way, you can either give your nose a hand blowing it out, or tilt your head back and let it flow down your throat either into your mouth for spitting the stuff out or down into your gut (not recommendable, by any means, but most folks do it).

Yeah @volunge i got the idea , and i really hope one day i could be successful on it, but it still weard in a kind of way to blow your nose a hundred times its not a big deal, that mucus on the nose actually created for cleaning the nose on its own, blowing it a lot could make an imbalance or something i just felt like that for a couples of days and i quit it, and the ideal snuff is the one that can be kept on the nose not getting runny and messy if you know what mean by that, and mucus if you see it as the wax on the ears is actually cleaning the ears , same as mucus, blowing it all the time is actually getting the nose stuck on who going to clean him now , snuff actually doesn’t clean nothing is just making it worst . But its ok if you enjoy it good for you cause i did as well, you know what i feel right now volunge that snuff i buyed online is not the same as the one i talked to you before about, with that moroccan sheap nefha that selled on the streets i quit smoking for 43days , with that one i buyed online who stupose to be better i quit for 5days lol :joy: but as i said this cigarettes are evils and maybe even snuff has nothing to do with all these reactions, maybe they put chemical on that cigarettes that you can’t get any alternatives or something, but you should be glad if you could :+1: have a nice day volunge

Are you sure that nefha from the street wasn’t actually a chema, intended for oral use? Chema is stronger than nefha. When chema is dried out, it is possible to take it nasally. I have tried it with Makla chema, the one made by Algerian emigrants in Belgium. They also make nefha for nose - Neffa Ifrikia, which is nice, but not super strong. It’s now in stock at Toque, you might be interested in trying it, mate. If you ever order anything again, include a tin for comparison with your local snuff. Also, I advise trying Toque USA Whiskey & Honey snuff (not the ordinary Whiskey & Honey, but USA Whiskey & Honey), it’s the strongest Toque snuff, it does contain rustica and has a sweet flavour. It doesn’t smell or taste of whiskey.

And yes, I can relate, for a regular daily use I would opt for a plain snuff than mentholated.

No, sadly, I haven’t been in Morocco, but I enjoy chema and neffa (chema and neffa made by Sifaco and Poschl are available in Europe - Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany; some of these products (and similar from Indian manufacturer Six Photos) can be procured from online shops, including Mr Snuff) and have grown my own rustica.

Menthol snuffs definitely give runny nose, that’s how they work. They open up your nose with the icy freeze effect and then after some minutes they give u runny nose so when you blow it out you end up with a clean nose.

Also a lot of plain tobacco snuffs (including rustica) gives you a runny nose, with the exception of some fine and dry one that does not give runny nose so much.

Runny nose after some minutes of a pinch of snuff is a natural effect of snuff and part of the experience.
Then you blow it and feel cleaner and your nose breathes better.

I wouldn’t like a snuff that doesn’t give me runny nose after some minutes of taking it.
For example I love coarse plain snuffs because they all tend to make your nose warm and runny (front drip) after some minutes.

Having to blow your nose is an effect of snuffing tobacco and it is the natural end of your pinch, the final stage. Cycle closed.

I wouldn’t want a snuff that is stuck in my nose.

@Abdoulaye you are describing it like it’s a problem though or like something you didnt expect or like it is wrong. Especially the menthol snuffs will always give a runny nose. You blow it 5-15 minutes after taking the snuff and is over and all good and fresher than before. Do you mean it gives you runny nose many times even after blowing your nose ?

I don’t think that a nasal snuff that doesn’t give or doesn’t tend to give runny nose (front drip) even exists.

Yes @ALLex for a while i think all of this is because that vaccine i’ve done, cause it’s a weard instopable runny nose, that i never experienced before maybe i didn’t done snuff for too long before or that much , but i fixed it in the end and i done it on the front of the nose and a little pinch and all of that but, this snuff they sell over hear is actually weard as well, i extract 4 teeths because of it, i don’t know why it goes to the teeth as well, and im still confused about this all things, i tryed to quit smoking with that and now im stuck between the two, and i lost my job because of that covid vaccine, my life becames hell it self  i don’t know why this happening to me, my over all health is like gone and i try to live with this every single day! Im sorry
