In a number of articles I’ve read about cigarettes: It is oft mentioned that menthol increase nicotine uptake. I’ve also noticed (anecdotal) that the ration of menthol to non-menthol cigs seems pretty close to the ratio of menthol to non-menthol snuffs. anyone know anything about menthol in snuff increasing nicotine up take?

Pretty sure it inhibits the metabolism of cotinine, which is one of nicotine’s metabolites which has mild psychoactive effects (it’s actually being researched as a possible antidepressant and antipsychotic IIRC)
