Okay so i’ve been trying to decide if it was just in my head or not but it won’t go away so here goes, for me anything with menthol has kind of a after taste that i can only describe as a faint burnt hair smell (really faint) i actually wanna call it an afterburn cus thats what it smells like anyway just wondering if anybody else gets that as well or if i’m just picking up another flavor that dosn’t blend well for me. menthols i’ve tried if this helps are sm500, president, o&g,and i think crumbs of comfort has a little in it too, but i get this “afterburn” from all of them.
never had that happen but after doing some of the menthols you’ve mentioned I’ve become far more sensitive to ambient smells that are faint.
it dosn’t really “happen” its just there everytime (just to be clear)
maybe it’s part of the tobacco smell I often notice the smell of tobac after the menthol wwears off.
i think that might be what it is and it just dosn’t transition well for me
The post nasal drips from the menthols are all terrible for me. I almost always spit this stuff out. The best throat coaters are the American scotches in my opinion. I’ll normally stomach these. The Hopfen Schnupf is pretty tasty too. Not that I’m intentionally going for post nasal but menthols always seem to drain a little that way.
Yeah for me the Swisher Strawberry & Honey Bee has the most enjoyable drip out there.
