McChrystals sp

a very nice snuff my tin was fresh because it was a very ammonia strong smell the scent is good in the sp but the bergamot and other smells faded for me really quickly in under minute it seems i dont know is this is because i may have left it open for too long to air out but the scent does come out strong. once that has faded you get the base tobbaco smell which iv just barely detectable it seems to transform into a graham cracker kind of smell.but even that starts to fade quickly. i was disapponted with this one. im looking for an sp that has the scent of bergamot and the smell of the base tobacco quite strong so its noticable. no sp ive tried has done this. i seem to be drawing to snuffs that have a scent but you can smell the base tobacco too like wilsons best dark

chef daniel sent me some sp when i first tried suff i cant remember the brand but i got the base tobacco smell and the sp smell in perfect quantities i didnt like it then but now i would say i really would have liked it no. i wish i could remember hat brand it was so i could buy it

Tried snuffstore SP?

no i got their rose one and the grind was springy or fluffy whatever you want to call it and it always stuffed up my nose i have one now that is fluffy and it stuffs me up also i like the "wilsons, toque and McChrystals grind

You should try Toque Original. Its a very good SP and won’t clog your nose up. If you want extra powerful in the scent department, try Toque SP Extra. High nicotine, super strong bergamot smell, lasts a long time. In om opinion, its a must try snuff.

I’m relatively new to SP’s.  For me, over the past few months I’ve been rotating between 5 (Queens Extra Strong, Best SP, SG 1HM, Snuff Store Traditional, and McChrystal’s) and I never tire of only one: McChrystal’s!  I think the base tobacco is so much “richer” than the rest and along with the bergamont, there’s a lavender scent that works really well.  Bottom line is that the tobacco is better and it makes all the difference for me. Possibly my desert island snuff.

I would recommend McChrystal’s S’Nuff to any SP fans.  Very bright and flavorful, but the base tobacco is still very present.

@SHbickel I need to try S’Nuff.  Would it be similar to Grand Cairo?

S’Nuff is just their SP with more flavoring, its like the McC version of Tom Buck or SP Extra

I’ve been taking Queens Extra Strong as well, which is identical to Tom Buck and I don’t find it that much stronger, if at all, in bergamot than McC.  McC SP has a noticeable lavender note that makes a difference. Maybe it’s just my sniffer.
