yes, I know it’s not christmas now nor easter, but I still have quite some home-stock of McChystal’s Cinnamon snuff. In 2012 and 2013 they introduced this snuff and you could order it from their website from half November until the stock is out about end of January. I ordered some tins of the first batch in 2012 as well as the second year in 2013. I still have 2 tins 2012 left! And still fresh to my surprise! The rest is 2013, and McChrystal’s has since then put labels at the bottom of the tins stating the production month/year. Very clever if you keep stock of tins like bottles of wine. I must say, both is cinnamon, but in the 2012 edition I experience more a smell of clove than cinnamon. The 2013 edition really has more cinnamon, it is some sweeter as well. I like both of them but 2013 was really an improvement. Both have also a smell of Gluhwein. But I do like cinnamon snuff in this time of year as well. I don’t know how much tins I sniffed with the christmas holiday season! Ian must think I’m an appreciated customer. I hope this year’s 2014 christmas snuff will be even better then the others, and that it will surprise us again. I hope to have enough stock until that time… Anyone else pleasant (or less pleasant?) experiences with McChrystal’s Cinnamon?

I think it smells great. I bought the 2013 version, and detected clove under the cinnamon. Unfortunately i get one hell of a burn, I sneeze, and my nose runs like a tap. That was Christmas, might try it this summer to see if there’s a change in my reaction.
