Figured its time to put in a thread for one of F&Ts finest snuffs, Macouba. Medium-fine in grind and medium-dry in texture, F&Ts Macouba is appealing to a range of snuffers from beginner to advanced. The only factor weighing in on beginner vs. advanced is how much you can take. My average is two snuff spoons per nostril. This one delivers in truckloads, with a floral note reminiscent of roses combined with a cedar/sandalwood background that sticks for a long time. I have seen some reviews note citrus from this blend, but I dont detect that. There is a background of some light smokiness, maybe arrack as well. The complexity and flavor just keep coming on this one. The Vitamin N burn kicks at first and then fades to the background allowing you to sort through the depths of this blend. All the flavors added up are hard to put in their own words - 19th century cologne perhaps? A fragrance house in Paris? A cedar closet filled with old suits? Its hard to tell but nice to mull over while enjoying this complex snuff. Buy this in 50g at a minimum, you wont regret your purchase. *****
