Lost iPhone

I was having an adventure with a fellow snuffhead, not “the” Snuffhead, in NYC. We shared some snuff and found a couple snuff bottles, the kind painted on the inside. During our travels I misplaced my brand new iPhone 3gs. It was a week old and I paid $99 for it with my upgrade from AT&T. I am thoroughly upset about this. Being as the new iPhone is coming out I’m sure theres gonna be someone with a 3gs they don’t need. If you are that person or know someone who is, please contact me. We managed to find some TAS Madras snuff so the trip was fruitful somewhat. Thanks.

get an android phone instead… i lover my nexus one. and i have an app on it that if i “lose” it or it is stolen, i can text a message to it and it will auto-respond with it’s GPS co-ordinates and set off an alarm on the phone itself

AT&T / Apple can locate your phone for you - and wipe it completely if need be. If you are a MobileMe subscriber, you can do the same yourself. Contact your phonecompany or Apple and they should be able to help.

I’m big on the android phone too. I just got my sprint “evo” a couple weeks ago. It’s my second android phone. For me it’s mostly because I use google calender, contacts and gmail to run my biz. When I get a new phone I just log in and everything syncs automatically. What’s that app called, Red?

wavesecure is the best one, but there are dozens of similar ones… the purchased version of wavesecure does backups and optionally wipes of your data, and will plot it’s location on a map online. keep GPS turned on (even if the “finder” turns it off) it’s nice, and at $20, far cheaper than a $100/year mobile.me account

I still have a old black rotary phone for a house line with the loud ring…annoys the wife but I love it…haha!

@ Red MacGregor - I would love to get the droid. Unfortunately I’m now tied into a 2 year contract and have to pay $150 for early deactivation. I wish I knew about this wavesecure before it was lost. @slartie - Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately when I called because I hadn’t ordered a particular service there was nothing they could do. But to my knowledge there’s no easy way to crack the password without deleting the data. @Bart - A very humbling comment indeed

You’re never gonna believe this, but… on a hunch I decided to check lost and found on Craigslist. Wouldn’t you believe it someone has found my phone and is looking for the owner. I love NY.

Remarkable ! Congratulations.

Thats great, and goes to show that there are good people out there, bet he/she is a snuff taker!

If news over-reactions are accurate they just want to see if you’ve got meth. That is awesome though.
