Looking to branch off to another brand(s)

K

I’ve been using snuff exclusively as my source of nicotine for two weeks now. I ordered the 10 for 9 from Toque and have enjoyed every sniff and drip and sneeze that I’ve gotten. My question is this: What should I try next? I’ve really enjoyed Menthol closely followed by Rose from Toque. Should I move on to more mentholated snuffs?

I’ve never tried Toque Rose (next order for sure) but I have to put in a good word for Wilsons of Sharrow Rose of Sharrow, most Rose snuffs are sweet and cloying but Wilsons’ is nice and green and biting and herby. I’m a shameless fanboy for 41 Photo White Elephant so I have to put in a good word for them too. Toasts put hair on your chest… white snuffs take the hair right off.

Payday is coming up so I will definitely look into those.

You’ll have to try a bunch on your own to find the snuffs that you enjoy best. Toque snuffs are solid and I started the same as you with the 10 for 9 deal. I got Toque Menthol in that first order and it was a bit too strong in the menthol department for me. I’ve found that McChrystal’s Original and Genuine is the menthol snuff I prefer after trying several menthols. Toque Rose is very nice. If you want to try another rose snuff I recommend Dholakia Ganga. It has rose and sandalwood and a great incense aroma and it’s been on my night table for a very long time. Did you get any of Toque’s toasts in your order? I have a jar full of Natural Toast (well, not so full now - I will have to restock soon). It stands up equally with Wilson’s #22 and F&T High Dry Toast. I think Toque’s Toast and Marmalade is awesome too. Try Viking Dark, Samuel Gawith Black Coffee, or anything that catches your eye as you browse the online shops. There are a lot of artisan snuffs out there too so give them a look.

I didn’t get any toasts. As I was researching I gathered that toasts might be a bit off-putting for beginners so I shied away from them. However, I will be adding some to my next order.

You should give some Indian snuffs a try on your next order. As crullers mentioned Dholakia Ganga had a rose element to it and there are many others that incorporate rose and other florals. The Indian snuffs run the gamut of heavily scented to dry and plain. Trying a selection from WoS and SG would be a decent starting point also as they both have a whole lot of different snuffs. Do a lot of reading and enjoy the Toque snuffs you have on hand also.

Thanks everyone for the responses.

Another option is to try one or more of the bundle deals on Mr. Snuff. Not only can you try a variety of to you new snuffs, but get a little price reduction as well when compared to buying components individually. Cheers!!!1
