I really want to try some rappee snuffs now that I am noticing how my tastes are shifting away from the strong menthol varieties - however, the last rappee I tried, Ficus Rappee, didn’t sit in my nose well at all; very much like freshly spread farm manure to my senses.
Is this something I might expect from all rappees or are there some absolute blinders out there that I’m missing out on?
Viking Dark Rappee is my favorite
Cheers, I’ve added some to my next eagle!
Mullins & Westley Black Rappee is very hard to beat! An absolutely classic Rappee, big nicotine hit s well.
As far as I gather, M&W Black Rappee, Viking Dark Rappee, WoS Brunswick Black Rappee and Artisan Dark Rappee is one and the same snuff. Toque Artisan brand scented rappees are made using this snuff as a base.
It’s been ages since I last time had a pinch of F&T Santo Domingo, and I still haven’t tried Princes, but judging by the looks, descriptions and reviews both are rappees. I cannot tell if it’s the same WoS rappee base.
Now Butslinger Rappee by PfälzerLandSnuff is entirely different animal.
These are the only currently produced rappees to my knowledge.
I shall grab a tin of the Pfalzer’ then, everything I’ve had from them has been solid gold!
Those Rappees you mentioned are certainly very similar, but not sure if exactly the same. Yes, Santo Domingo is a fantastic snuff, one of the best ever made!
