Im thinking of trying a new Poschl that i have yet to try and i want help deciding which i should get. I would look on snuffreviews but i cant access the site. The one i am thinking of purchasing are

 Andechs Spezial, MacCraig Royal  or Gawith Apricot.

Other poschls that i do like, my all time favorites are Ozona President and Gawith Cola.

I also enjoy Ozona Cherry and Gletcher Prise, as well as Packards Club on occasion

The Apricot is pretty mellow imo, and it seems one of the most popular. The McCraig as I recall, is rather heavy in the camphor.

Gawith Apricot is certainly worth getting. As @Mr. O says, it’s a relatively mellow kind of snuff - the menthol isn’t as strong as certain other menthol snuffs, and it has a really pleasant lasting fruity scent. Any negativity about it tends to be from people who don’t like Poschls and/or menthol in general, but as you already like President etc. I would imagine you’ll appreciate GA.

My favorite brand is poschl and I have tried every poschl that is available at Mr. Snuff. I don’t want to sound pompous, but I do want to help show people what some of the best Poschl snuffs are. So please don’t take my suggestions with a grain of salt.

The best Poschl snuffs (imho) are:
Radfords Premium
FC Bayern
Adechs Spezial
Gletcherprise
Lowenprise
Gawith Apricot
Ozona President
Ozona Cherry
Alpina

And if you are on a budget I find these to be particularly special
Radford Premium
FC Bayern
Gawith Apricot
Gletcher Prise
Lowenprise, but I think a lot of people either love or hate lowenprise because it is a licorice flavor and a lot of people can;t stand that kind of flavor

And always remember Radford Premium is not the same as Radford Snuff 25g, which is the only Poschl I dont like, I find it to be a hideous creation.
If you want a break from the menthol try the Schmalzlers, Sudfrucht and Doppelaroma are my favorite. I think they come in 25g sizes too if you are on a budget.

Since you liked the Toque Peppermint you might want to try the Ozona Spearmint.

Good suggestion, Gletcherprise Extra is also peppermint flavor. I tried the expensive poschls to try them out, I would never pay that much for snuff on a regular basis though, and if i started to like it a lot that would suck because they are difficult for mr. snuff to get and if for some reason he couldn’t get them anymore it would suck. Try them out when you have extra dough, otherwise its a bad investment imho

I thought Radford Premium Mild was one of the more expensive ones…

The Gawith Apricot is good, if you like Gawith Cola and the Ozona Cherry you should like this.

Hows the Radford English?

The one in the 25g tin? If so, it’s strongly medicated, not sure about camphor or eucalyptus, but it’s got a lot of menthol!

I was thing about goin with the Radford english because theres more in it and since i dont know when ill be able to buy snuff again, it might b nice to have…also its not much more then the others…i just dont wana get it if i sucks.

If you can handle Hedges I’d say give it a shot. Or if you want more menthol than Gletcherprise or FC Bayern, it could be good for your taste. It is perhaps the most medicinally flavored Poschlaso one could perhaps compare it to a strong English medicated with the German oil added. It is also rather dark if that makes any difference.

It’s apperantly not the most popular Poschl amongst the members here…

I think ill give it a shot and see if i like it, if i dont i can probably sell it to one of my friends who use snuff.

Gawith Apricot is on my desert island 10. Other than that, the only others I really enjoy a lot are the scmalzlers and Radford Premium.

Gawith Apricot is delicious. I really like Ozona President and Red Bull too, I’ve noticed there’s not much love for the 'Bull, do I have odd tastes or is it just overlooked a lot of the time?

So now i can’t even access the poschl site…
