Thought it was some poor me sob sorry? Lol…I am finding many of my initial favorite snuffs are not getting any attention…this is due to increase in variety and size of collection…( 150 plus in 5 months ) I am glad yesterday I patted the 50 gram jar of SWS CDF on the head and give him attention though the day… I couldn’t begin to list ( cause I am not near collection now ) but 2 that come to mind are FUBAR SHOT OF RUM and AULD ALLIANCE… Does anyone here have snuff that were your favorites and are now lonely?? What are they? If not, how do you systematically rotate to make sure no one gets lonely.

Nah I try to only order 250g or so at a time and not make a new order until I’ve almost finished the first one, stale snuff drives me bonkers!

Sadens me to say that I´ve so many loved snuffs neglected, but with two of them (Toque Pomegranate and Whiskey & Honey) I´ll make an appointment as soon as my snuffbox empties

I’ve been trying lots of different snuff in smaller amounts, but now actively working on consuming them all so I can focus on having a smaller range of favourites with just the odd extra flavour or two kicking around. This means not using the 25g snuffs I have jarred up till I’ve gotten through the rest … but buying at least 25g of any favourites I find along the way. Whittling it down to a few favourites takes time, you know

I too have many lonely “snuffs” but sooner or later they get the attention they deserve.

I’ve still got some tins to finish off from when I had 100s of snuffs. But now I like to use from my bulk collection. I like my snuff fresh. The problem with keeping 100s of tins is you will lose some to going stale and not all snuffs rehydrate well. I learned this the hard way.

Tonque Spanish Gem and Absinthe are probably my lonesome snuffs. The funny thing is that when I get round to them finally again I’m always like “This is really nice, I should use this more!” I think everything else gets a fairly regular outing though. Actually WoS Jasmine is one that likewise doesn’t come out too often either. Having said that I don’t have a massive stock of snuff, I deliberately try to keep it low so things don’t spoil. But then there’s always more snuffs you want to try isn’t there?

I check in regularly, if even just to say hi. The fruity ones are the loneliest as I’ve always preferred anchovies to apples.

I hate toasts. Have them in the fridge. Lime toast, F& T high dry. Tried them and am starting to like them. Did my sponge pinch a few days ago and I loved it. Had to reconstruct what was in my rotation. good memory so I got it and now have a new second favorite snuff. while talking of tastes some of you may be familiar with Subway Sandwich shops. It says second best taste in the world. An old friend knew the owner and had the franchise for all of SE usa. he told me what the best taste was. My SG snuffs are lonely, For some reason I grown fond of drier, finer grind snuff, there are a few SG that are fine ,will have to pay them a visit. I used to rotate daily. Now I just fill several boxes to carry, when they empty I fill them with something else, weekly, by-weekly. but while home I pinch what I am in the mood for.They will never run out since I order often. Just checked out with another snuff order today. My snuff may get lonely but I am surrounded by snuff so I am never lonely.

@basement_shaman…I haven’t had a SG I didn’t like ( that’s not to say, some don’t get lonely ) Even though I am nowhere near your massive collection. I still dont get to all. I snuff all day, all the time. The fix I think will be to utilize a rotating pattern in my drawers, that way they all will get a fair share of attention. I just reached to the back of middle drawer and grabbed the SG Irish D Light ( had it a month ) and probably only the fifth time I did it. I can’t place the aroma, but its so excellent, I love a great toast!!

Since becoming a toast and scotch user I now how a few hundred grams of lonely snuff. For some reason I keep buying more snuff to keep the lonely guys company.

I think we all have this issue, but then I think of it as making new discoveries every day… Oh wait, maybe that is a sign of my pending Alzheimer’s…

Ah… but we know that tobacco helps ward off Alzheimer’s, or at least reduces the symptoms.
