Lime Toast

N

I’ve been having a great time this Xmas with Lime toast.

We’ve been travelling all over this year to get our son out to meet the family for his first xmas.

I only had time to grab a 10g tin without even looking at what i was taking.

It ended up being lime toast.

I’ve never really been into toasts, but this stuff is pairing well with everything.

Especially with a White Ale made by Alexander Keiths. Nova scotia beer.

I may have a new favorite!

O

Lime Toast is sublime. I’ve got it in bulk (600g).

J

I didn’t like it fresh but now that it has faded a bit I’m liking it a lot.

S

We are talking about Toque? This is one I have been thinking about trying

N

Love Lime Toast.  It was my second toast to try (the first being WoS IHT #22).  Find it can be a bit hard to take as I’m still new to snuffing.  But other than sometimes coughing or getting it a bit too far back, it is quite enjoyable.

T

I’ve been on it over xmas, very nice it is too.

A

The best scented toast around!

S

i feel it is a good substitute for an SP … not that it is bergamot scented, along with other bright scents of an SP, just that it is refreshing and citrus-y … if one is not into SP’s … I do prefer Lime Toast over most SPs … but, for scented toasts… whiskey and honey as well as toast and marmalade come to mind.

J

Yeah Lime Toast, Whiskey & Honey, and Toast & Marmalade are awesome. Lime Toast has a great lime flavor. I love it. Xmas Pudding is awesome too. With it only being released every winter, it always reminds me of Xmas.

B

sounds perfect. Definatly need to get this one.

Z

My favorite Toque!

R

It’s a masterpiece.

T

Thanks Guys!

B

ordered it. Which is funny it’s taken me this long, toque is one of many fine fine snuff producers so I know they are quality (their rose is one of my favorite all times snuffs so is whiskey and honey, and if you haven’t tried their toffee you really should.) and since I started snuffing seriously I always thought where the hell is the lime snuff that would be amazing.

S

I spent a lot of time enjoying Lime Toast over this past week. It is on my stock up list.

Y

I was planning to get one of those 10 sample kits from toque. Maybe I should just buy a large tim of line toast? I like toasts. Hmmmmmmm

S

The Original is very good also.

S

SP Extra is another great one.

A

Made another 6 tin order from Toque and Lime Toast was the main attraction there, others are Original, SP Extra, Whiskey&Honey, Quit and Spanish Gem- my Toque favourites.

B

@AllanH Coming from you, they have to be great! …in which they are.

Between Wilson’s #22 and Toque’s Natural Toast, Lime Toast is right in the middle.

O

I can never decide which toasts I best like. It changes almost daily. What I do know are these are my favourites: Toque Natural Toast IHT 22 Whisky & Honey Cheese and Bacon Not on my fave list, but still really enjoy: HDT, Irish D Light, Toast & Marmalade, Lemon Toast, Lime Toast, IDHT 20 Really looking forward to trying the new Dholakia toasts!

P

I adore the Champagne, its more of a sensation than a scent. My only fault w/most British Snuff is the grind-straight to my sinuses. Because of this, i have never taken the time to master them, but i still enjoy them.

C

Love Toast & Marmalade, might actually be my favorite, just wish I could get it in bulk.

J

@cstokes4 Have you asked Roddy? He made me an Xmas pudding economy bag. He said “when you order, order an original, and email me right when you do and Ill make sure you get xmas pudding.”

Maybe he’ll work with you on toast n marmalade.  Ask him about it.

C

The problem is that TnM has citrus in it so it is not compatible with plastic bags.  If you look under the economy bag section you won’t see any of the citrus based snuffs listed.

J

huh. Learn something new every day.

S

This is true … the citrus causes the bag to expand, correct?  the interesting part is Slide ordered Lime Toast in 400g bag … but i was under the impression the citrus would limit that one as well … but then, Lime Toast isn’t available in bulk besides 400g … wonder why the anomaly?  I love TnM … all Toque’s flavored toasts are sublime.  TnM, Whiskey&Honey and Lime are my faves of all snuffs, Toque or otherwise.  Toque Bourbon is making a case too!

C

For sure, Whiskey & Honey is incredible as is the Natty Toast.  Not big on the Bourbon for some reason.

T

The citrus is 100% natural and if you’ve ever forgotten a carton of freshly squeezed orange juice you’ll know how they swell up like a balloon.  We have sent economy bags as JohnnyFriday say’s and could do it with the citrus flavours but, you would have to decant them straight into a glass or appropriate container.

S

I’ve picked up 400 grams of Lime Toast in the economy bag. Regardless of what bulk I purchase from Toque I immediately decant them into mason jars.

When taking them from the mason jars they are just like the day I received them. They may still need to air a bit for their character to show itself.

O

Does that mean, rodders, that I could order 600g TNM and store it in those strong black jars I use like we did with lime toast? I wish you would have told me this when we discussed it. If its just a bag problem it won’t affect me. Those jars I use are very strong. I dropped one on the stone kitchen floor and it didn’t even cause a scratch. Thank god, and it was full of snuff. You’d need a hammer to crack the jars I use.

T

Oscar,

Do you really need any more snuff? LOL!

We’ve shipped a couple of bags over to the States and we didn’t have any problems. So no problem Oscar. I’d still be a bit worried shipping further afield.

O

Lol. TnM? - you betcha. Love that stuff man. Cant afford it atm, but will talk to you again when I can. Thanks Roderick

S

+1 on TnM in bulk for me too …

Y

Y

I got my first order of @Toque this morning. Coke, Chocolate, and Lime Toast, which is now my favourite! That will probably be my first bulk load order of snuff next

J

Its exquisitely fragrant.  Mix it with Toque cherry and you get my all time favorite hot summer beverage. “The cherry Limeade”

J

I will try that. I recently received a bunch of Toque fruit flavors that I had been wanting to try and I’m a little underwhelmed by the Cherry, especially when Raspberry made a striking debut to my nose.

N

@Juxtaposer man I totally agree! when I got mine Toque lime toast it tasted a bit soapy, but after having some fresh air the aroma “opened up” and now, OH LORD it is just perfect. and toasts are supposed to be difficult to take? not this one …and I’m totally amateur!

G

I took everyone’s advice and tried the Lime Toast on my last order. I am nearly half way through the 25 gram tin and have to make another order because I can’t bear to think of being without. Thanks guys for making me spend more money and add another snuff to the must have list, sigh.
