Lighted Snuffbox

How awesome would that be? No longer would I be forced to pop a wad o’ snus in while relaxing at night, watching a movie in the dark. (and I say forced like it takes a lot of prodding to load up the icetool with Thunder Frosted). Methinks a prototype is in the works!

Good idea! Maybe you could convert a lighted makeup compact or use it’s mechanism somehow.

I thought that’s what bullet’s were for, lol.

You must be far more graceful than myself, @Harlequin! I’m like a bull in the china shop even WITH a light on!

I like that idea! Of course mirrors and powdered inhalants have a torrid history!

Thank’s! And that didn’t even occur to me. But if the mirror has to be open to a certain angle for the light to work, it would be perhaps less useful for that particular illicit activity.

you wouldn’t need it to be too bright. If the color of light showed snuff well that would be all you’d need. For example I think a red light or filter would work great. You could see the snuff and not ruin your watching time for anyone.

The light would get covered with snuff, there for defeating its practical use! I pinch so I rely on feel over sight. Maybe a lighted snuff spoon would be more practical. you could modify a lighted screwdriver with a torch and a ball peen hammer. Just heat it up til cherry red and hit it to the form of a spoon, grind and polish smooth. Be the first on your block. Necessity is the mother of invention! or just tape a laser pointer to a snuff spoon if your not handy with tools

Anyone remember glow in the dark spoons in cereal boxes? Just find one at a yard sale and sand it down.

nope

basement shaman, very true, totally didn’t occur to me.

The sad part for me is I can’t figure out any way to snuff proof the mirror without defeating the purpose. One would need something between the snuff and the mirror that swivels out of the way so as not to get in the way of the mirror or snuff, but something swiveling out of the way would make the whole thing awkward probably, what a headache! Maybe also one could modify a cheap LED flashlight (about $2-5) and fasten it to one of Mr. Snuff’s nice long dental tool- style spoons (I love those spoons!)

@bob well even if you don’t remember them in cereal they were made. Also, glow in the dark paint over a cheap snuffbox and put a clear coat on it…man, I’m giving myself ideas now…

Sounds trippy!

harlequin I like that (hence the useing the like button).

I expect a prototype on my desk no earlier than Monday morning! ;p
