I’ve tried SG and Wilson’s KB, and I liked them so much, I have five tins of the Wilson’s over on the trade forum. Smells exactly like Comet bathroom scouring powder to me. Yuck. Apparently snuff is a ‘different strokes for different folks’ kind of thing.
i do not like F&T’s KB Wilson’s KB is interesting. I like it even though it’s not quite a KB in my mind All 3 varieties of KB by SG I have and love. The KB from Gawith is not bad at all, either.
I’m with you on FT KB. I also don’t care for WoS’ KB. Samuel Gawith and Gawith Hoggarth make the best KB’s. GH is maybe a tad bit better than SG.
Is it just me or is there something funny going on in GH Kendal Brown? My first impression is eau de dead cat, fading quickly to lakeland floral, and then to saddle soap, terminating in barnyard and saddle leather. Ultimately, I like it, although the burn is more pins and needle sharp than I’ve noticed in other snuffs. Grind and moisture is excellent. Nicotine is satisflying. Clean blow out. Maybe some airing will get rid of Pussy de la Morte.
