I have always snuffed with both, but I’ve always had trouble breathing out of my left nostril so much so that I am a mouth breather. So needless to say it is quite a challenge getting snuff up there, it’s almost always a frusterating messy situation even when I plug my right nostril. I mostly pinch, occasionally boxcar which is usually dissappointing because there is no sucking power. Does anyone use only one nostril exclusively? If so does that take away from the experience? Any recommended snuffs for my problem? I read a review about taxi red where it was suggested to just shove the snuff in there, haven’t tried it yet though.
I think you have the same problem I do, a deviated septum. (Please check with an MD). To test this out you can pull the bottom of your clogged nostril out to the side. If it reduces the clogging you have a deviated septum. There is surgery to correct the problem or you can take the option I chose. Get a small box of Breathe Right Strips & give them a try. It improves my breathing (& snuff taking) about 90%). It comes in 3 versions. I think the Extra version stays on much longer than the other 2. Hope this helps you. :)]
I can not believe I have never tried just pulling my nostril to the side, I used to push the top part of my cheek over where the sinus is to aid breathing. Pulling the nostril has helped tremendously. I find if I do it and take a few deep breaths I am able to snuff right after and everything goes up there easily. Thanks for the help.
i have the same problem with my right nostril but i learned how to take snuff into it bucause sniffing with one nostril il like to listen to music with just one ear without stereo effect. Breath right doesn’t work for me so i sleep on my right side.
I have the same problem, and use snuff 90% in one nostril. I have been using snuff for 2 years, so I enjoy it.
