Just got a 100 gm bag of Fresko, mixed a little with some Straubinger left in my box. They are quite good together. I really like the smooth texture and the subtle taste of walnuts or dates or whatever it is. Not sweet at all, but quite pleasant. I know many of you have made similar comments about the Sterneckers. I guess I’m just adding my own comment to say that I agree with most of you who like them. I don’t think I want to get the un-schmalzed version, thats a little too labor intensive for me. But if you read this, and you haven’t tried the Sternecker’s snuff, I highly reccomend you give a try. You will not be disappointed if you want a non menthol good German product.

Staubinger is great. It’s my cake snuff not all day. But something I pig out on when I want a real treat.
