Interesting old Fribourg & Treyer label. Makes a mention of Lundy Foot’s Dry Toast. Did not know if anyone has seen this before. photo oldsnuffhouseoff00evaniala_0083.jpg" />

Also a few more pics. This book is a pretty good read and can be read for free online. I would like to try some of these that are no longer made. No doubt I would probably hate them as I am sure they were heavily perfumed, but still history nonetheless. photo oldsnuffhouseoff00evaniala_0031-1.jpg" /> photo oldsnuffhouseoff00evaniala_0029.jpg" /> photo oldsnuffhouseoff00evaniala_0030.jpg" /> EDIT: Just noticed that this book is linked on the last page I believe in the snuffhouse library. I just posted pictures because I thought they were neat but knew I had heard about this book from somewhere and of course it was from on here a long time ago. MODs feel free to move this, I obviously should have posted this in the library section.

@lunecat The cheese grater is a tobacco rasp, for making snuff! At the sign of the crown and rasp, good for illiterate people.

Indeed.
