So I got my jaxons and mcs today =D. Here’s what I think of them. MC apricot…I was kinda disappointed…it’s damn fine, but scent lasts long…the problem with it being damn fine is this: “Hey, this is a nice nose. Back of the throat, are you here?” Back of the throat: “Yeah, I’m here” *suckerpunch* It smells good though… anisette is slightly better, it really really really smells anisette, and nothing but anisette! Jaxons toffee…it likes to burn, but it smells good, really good…very smooth too! Jaxons cherry menthol: The menthol isn’t really cherry, it seems more gloomy and suppressed. But the cherry is cherry! It’s really dominant and clear. I’d rate jaxons gloomy menthol 3.5/5 and toffee 3/5. The cherry is just better, sorry toffee. As for MC apircot…2/5, it’s just not my style, unless I mix it with my 3 year old gleischer, which gives it a kick, tobacco scent and menthol. mix em, and it’s 4/5. Damn you germans, you’ve spoiled me! Heil pöschl! Anisette is slightly easier to take, but it’s still MC, I like the scent though, especially if mixed with Gleischer, even though gleischer overpowers it and leaves anisette as a final kick. These MC snuffs are definately not my style, but nothing really old gleischer can’t fix. What would you guys recommend for someone who just loves pöschl and hates everything else?

Yeah, that seems to be the only snuff for me. Howa branif in comparison?
Branif is moderately better overall than Pöschl generally speaking, but they only have 2 non tobacco snuffs. I strongly recommend anything from Bernard. Much superior (and less gimmicky)to Pöschl from the same family of snuff styles. Pöschl snuffs usually leave me gagging and spitting, just the oil they use I imagine. Polar Prise is the equivalent Bernard flavor-wise to Gletscher Prise. All IMHO of course.
