Hello I was wondering if anyone tried the Janta Indian Rustica sampler pack? Is this stuff as strong as they say? How strong is it compared to WE? Is it any good? I purchased some of it if no one has anything to say about it I will mention in this post after I try it.

Hey do I need to let the afghan white and WE air out I hear they have a slight fishy scent to them, will that ammonia and fishy scent go away if I let it air out? or will that dry it out?

I rather enjoy the slight “fishy” scent of WE. It will mellow out over time. I don’t think WE can be dried any more than it already is, haha. In addition to WE, I also got a tin of White Horse which is similar to WE in scent but seems to have a little moisture, thus making it easier to take. I love both of these snuffs, in moderation, as they seem to dry my nose out when overusing. I’ve not tried the Afghan White yet.

Alight cool I will just enjoy it for what it is…yea I got some saline nasal spray and some other nasal sprays too to combat the dryness, Its been like 20 years since I did snuff but I am gonna take it easy and be gentle and careful with it not to let it into my lungs

I got the Rustica pack I tried the coffee one its got some menthol in it and it smells like strong tobacco, hits pretty hard but not as hard as WE of afghan white, it definitely is good. worth trying anyway

So far my favorite is the Afghan White. I think it is better than the WE, the janta dragon madras is delicious but not as strong as the others

I bet that Afghan White is nice, I’m a bit put off by the price, to be honest, though I enjoy the story that goes with it. Perhaps try some of the White Horse next time, I see they are sold out now. I do plan to try some of the Rusticas in my next order.

Have you tried the Green Dragon, it is very different and I really like it. It is medicated and has a nice mix of scents and a cool greenish color.

Yea I am going to get some green dragon next time, the price on that AW is steep but I think it is worth it. it is great stuff, I thought the Rustica would be stronger but it is still very strong. I heard white horse is a little less strong than WE, honesty I think the AW punches harder than the WE

I really enjoy the Standard. Very savory and buttery rustica goodness with a barnyard aroma at first that fades after using a few days. It’s plain but I like that. I recommend.

I like the sound of that, @towhee89, I’ll definitely add a tin to my next order. Any of the other Janta’s you recommend? I’ve not tried any of them

Dragon Madras is awesome by then and even stronger. Janta mail is a bit too scented, but good.
