James taylor - Tube Rose Snuff Jingle

James Taylor Tube Rose Snuff JingleNeat stuff!!!

That’s awesome!

me sentiments exactly!!

I feel that I absolutly MUST try Tube Rose now!

Tube Rose is a great US snuff. It’s on my favorite’s list (but I love all US snuffs, so…). It’s one of the easier to take US snuffs and isn’t really that sweet, so it still gives a great tobacco flavor.

James Taylor has settled the debate, then! @cstokes, I must try it…the only American snuff I’ve had was Bruton, and I found it quite vile at first, but I once I grew more accustomed to snuff taking, I used the whole sample in a day.

Yes, yes, yes! Because rose rhymes with nose and James Taylor sang it, it is so!

That was pretty good! Does Tube Rose actually have a rose flavour?

No, it hasn’t got a rose flavor. I looked up Tube Rose on wikipedia, you can read for yourself. Its an altogether different flower and reputed to be very pungent and sweet. The snuff just seems to be a little different than some of the other sweet snuffs, it has a little bit of a floral character, but nothing like an English floral snuff. As with the other sweets it seems like a different thing to sweeten with. At first all of these US snuffs tasted almost the same to me, I’ve been playing around a lot with them this week and they are all quite distinct, except for Navy and Railroad Mills. These I think are identical. I even suspect Navy Plain and Railroad Mills Plain are identical. Further testing needs to be done!

I like it! (…and I’m going to have that song playing in my head for the next three days…)

I believe the tobacco flower being in the shape of a tube has been called the tube rose. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.

A very, very good find and a piece of genuine snuff sociology. Very, very cool!

Navy Plain and RR Mills Plain are two different animals. @ Juxtaposer: I have also heard that the Tobacco bloom is called a Tube Rose.
