Hey everyone, Yesterday morning I had a nice surprise (: I went to buy some spices and nuts in a nice shop I like in a nice (street) market in the south of Tel-Aviv. It was my third time in this shop, but this time, the moment I entered the shop, I saw a box full with McChrystal’s snuff… So, I decided to look around better, and then I saw it… Snuff made in Israel. 2 different brands: Pil (translated to English-Elephant) and: Zamir (translated to English-Nightingale) They didn’t have much of variety. Maybe 1 or 2 to each brand, and the Pil had 2 for oral use as well, I’m not sure if it’s for chewing or like snuss or… I got the Zamir and i really like it (: The one I got has a fine grind, the color is something between yellow to light brown. The taste is kind of spicy, but I can not define which spice is it. I’ll try to upload 2 photos I took.

I want these. Bad. OMG That little snuff box (circle) looks so damn cool!
Look like some powerful snuff. The desert climate produces some heavy duty tobacco. Dohka but that is mix with herbs. India exports tobacco all over. So it may be made from Indian tobacco. I’m thinking the Pil is the rare sought after White Elephant

@basement-shaman As far that I understood, from the owner of the shop, they grow the tobacco in Israel and produce the snuff in Israel. Next time I’ll go to this shop I’ll try to get more information… @Scurvy Right right B-) And happily there is still more snuff that I’ll be happy to have. So, I’ll be happy to trade 
By the way, I forgot to tell… I gave to the owner of the shop to try the Toque whiskey & honey, and he liked it very much. He didn’t know about Toque and he showed a real interest in it (:

@basement_shaman You are right. The tobacco is imported from India and in Israel they produce the snuff (: I got the name of 2 places where they are producing it. I don’t find a website from them. I’ll call them and try to get more information…
