I’ve heard what mold looks like. Is that what this is? Or is this a reaction to the aluminum tin?

Can’t really make it out in the picture, but the moister snuffs do have a reputation for oxidzing those tins. Its most likely that and not mold. Oxidation will look like white crystals growing on the tin wall. If its just on the top layer, you can probably salvage the lower portion. If you can salvage any, put it in glass.
I have some Santo Domingo that is doing the same thing, I don’t think a little oxidation will kill you I would just try to scoop out as much as I could and move the rest to a glass jar. The dark moist snuffs seem to have a tendency to do this.
