Yeah totally normal, DW is no joke. You get used to it, it doesn’t even burn me anymore, just makes me warm in my nose. But it took a few months to really feel totally comfortable with it.

As a noob that cut his teeth on American Scotches, I don’t find Dholakia White that hard to take. Yes, it’s awesome.

Today was my first day without a Cigarette AND I don’t think I’ll ever light up again as long as I have DW around. HOLY MOLY, this stuff is GREAT!

Dholakia White is pretty great, it varies a lot as you move down the tub. I find it’s very fishy and barnyardy at the top and as you move down it’s much more yeasty and bready, like a fresh warm loaf of home-baked bread.

@horus92, that’s interesting. I’ve got a 250gm tub, I noticed it getting a bit less fishy, too. I don’t mind the fishiness, actually. It’s part of what it is. I also noticed a very big difference between the tub and little packets, the tub seems to have been evolving a bit, as you said, but started off much sharper and more pungent. Great stuff. Probably my number one.

I have the same experience with Bruton’s. The initial WHAM when it finally goes up into your nose. I am still perfecting my technique, so sometimes… more often than not, I can’t seem to get small sniff of it instead I wind up taking the whole pile up into my nose at once; followed by the few minutes of profuse eye watering on that side.

Try pure fine cut rustica toque have some at the moment that stuff is even stronger to me but seriously go easy on it because it is extremely potent but huge fun . Just expect burn and crying lol
