I just recently added a 10g jar of FUBAR Bohica in with my last Mr. Snuff order. I’ve heard a lot about this snuff, and some people say it’s extremely painful to use, and others say its not that bad. To be honest, I’m hoping it’s brutal.
I thought I reached my limit when I received some Dholakia White in a trade with a friend (Thanks, I think, Skellard :D). I’m hoping this Bohica is beyond brutal and it sits on my desk taunting me 24/7. I know that sounds strange, but I like knowing there is a snuff out there that is a bit to brutal to use daily. I know some of you folks would dive head first into a giant pool of Dholakia White, but it’s taken me over a year to become accustomed to that ultra fine grind & cheese foot aroma.
FUBAR Bohica is made by Dholakia, and uses a base of Dholakia Swiss Chocolate (best chocolate snuff on the market in my opinion). To the base is added capsaicin extract (seems like that rather than hot pepper, as I don’t detect the pepper flavor, just the burn).
And yes, it is totally brutal. A riot in a chocolate factory, with police pepper-spraying you in the face. I’d say the grind is medium, so it’s easier to keep it from going straight back to the throat and lungs. As a first snuff of the morning, it’s a good way to wake the senses and purge out any residual snuff from the sinuses from the day before. It’s very clearing and stimulating. Will also clear away any cobwebs in the brain.
It sounds like exactly what I’ve been looking for! I don’t use many non medicated/mentholated snuffs, but I’m looking for something different to shake the cobwebs off on those slow mornings.
WoS Chilli Chocolate wants to be Fubar Bohica when it grows up.
Bohica has the alluring delightful rich chocolate scent, once it is in the nose it pulsates heat into the nasal cavity and gets stronger as it builds letting all the juices flow from your nose and eye sockets and probably from the pores on your head. It that don’t wake you up, you’re deceased.
8-X >:) :)) 8-} :-? Go for it :-bd Your the man \m/
Please revisit this tread and tell us how you love it!
Sounds excellent, thanks for the feedback! I love spicy food, and something about that burn is attractive to me. I’m hoping to find the same “enjoyable” suffering from this snuff. I work 12-14 hours a day, so this will help wake me back up on those long nights.
I’ll be sure to revisit and share my experience. My order just shipped out today so I’m hoping it’ll be here this week (doubtful), but next week it should definitely be here.
It’s brutal, I can’t stand it, hopefully you will enjoy it. BTW, I’ve read that people develop a tolerance to hot pepper because the capsaicin kills the receptors that respond to it. They grow back if one takes a break from the hots and then one needs to build up tolerance again.
I’m quite certain that I have a tolerance. I spent a few years living in China (Sichuan province) that is famous for hot foods. That… and I eat hot food at least 3x a week. I might take a break this week to lower my tolerance to get the full effect of Bohica.
It makes my eyes and nose gush, and between that and repeating “oh god”, I’m too distracted to decide if I like the burn or scent or anything. I like my Asian cuisine spicy…hot wings are delicious… but I doubt I’ll ever use Bohica again. It was fun to try though - glad I only spent $0.99 for mine. “If that don’t wake you up, you’re deceased.” - lol @basement_shaman. Pretty much.
@Oregon The secuence is like this: It starts like “Yumm… Choocolate. Delicious…” and then, suddenly, your nose sets on fire. Nose running and eyes on tears. Then you blow your nose hard -not enough-, then to the toilet to wash it thoroughly -better, but still not enough-, and finally waiting for at least 15 min. to let the embers get almost extinguised, and your nose able to take another pinch -of any other snuff, of course-.
I’m going to have to try some of this stuff as I’m the type of masochist that loves nuclear-strength curries which leave me a slobbering wreck. Should go down a treat.
That’s hilarious! Bohica is good but it’s not for most people. It’s good as a dip too. A fat pinch will gradually burn your face off but it does subside. Nice if you re a masochist
Do let us know how you get on with it. I’m also a fan of Dholakia White and hot curries, so I’m curious to know how that translates into affection for Bohican in your case.
if you snorted cayenne pepper you’d get an idea of what you bought before it arrives.
I bought it when mrsnuff was basically giving it away, I go thru phases where I like it, but don’t take it consistently to where it doesn’t beat me up each time.
@SeanOCDPx
The more I read about this the more excited I become. I’m a heat junkie, but I can safely say that I’ve never had anything spicy up my nose.
@snuffvillian
This sounds wonderful, and terrible at the same time. I’m excited to try it but nervous at the same time. I thought this snuff was hyped up but based on everything you guys are telling me, it’s every bit as brutal as I’ve heard.
@crullers
Haha! I love it! Crumbs of Comfort on the other hand is one of my daily snuffs.
@MrSnuff
I’ll be sure to add some into my next order! Thanks for the recommendation. I don’t know much about “willy pete”, but I’ve heard its grind is similar to Dholakia White… which would mean it’s the finest ground snuff I’ve ever had. I’ve been using Dholakia White for around 2 years now, and I still can’t take it without it hitting the back of my brain. Is Willy Pete brutal because of the grind or was something sinister added to it?
@fj1988
We have similar tastes brother. Out here in Portland, there is a large Indian community (about 1/2 are working at Intel), and this little restaurant here serves a curry dish that is so hot the first time I ate it I had hiccups for 30 minutes. I still order it every time I go there and regret it the next morning.
@Bastu
Hahaha! I love how he starts saying “I’m going in for another pinch, the burn isn’t that bad”, then about 3 seconds later… “Oh no… no I’m not…”.
@jmahes
I’m stoked to give this a try. I keep checking my post box waiting.
@basement_shaman
While I wait to get my Oregon concealed carry permit, this will provide me with that extra blanket of security.
@JakartaBoy
When I give it a try, I promise to take a large pinch and let you guys know how it turned out.
@snuffsahoy
I haven’t even tried this snuff yet, but I wish I had bought the 50g tin instead of 10g. I think I’m going to have a lot of fun torturing myself with this one.
