I think we as snuff takers need to get serious about introducing people to snuff. I’m talking Jehova witness type of serious - Personally I think people will be a lot more open to chatting to a guy with a snuff box than one trying to take birthdays and Christmas away from you.
Around 10 person as far, but most of them have stopped snuffing after some time though. Mainly because of runny nose, but it is something you have to live with if you want to take snuff daily. But my girlfriend have not stopped yet. I love “snuff time” with her.
I could only wish for a runney nose by the end of each day I have a dry blocked nose
Actually getting a fair amount of friends into it, but they use it as adjuncts to cigarette smoking and not as a primary thing. I have one friend who got into it full-time and wasn’t even a former smoker.
Two of my coworkers just found out that I use snuff, at first there were the usual comments where people think you are weird or crazy but after some explaining and some pretty funny introductory pinches they were asking me for snuff every time i worked with them. I’ve recently given them a 5 gram tin of J and H wilsons medicated 99 each and they are loving it. One was a non smoker who used to dip and the other one is in the process of quitting smoking. They are also into trying whatever snuff I have with me at the time. I think if you have an open mind and have an appreciation of tobacco/ nicotine than it would be pretty hard not to love nasal snuff.

hey! i had never been smoking before getting into snuff. alpina is the very first tobacco product i have ever used. well, i have been smoking for a while then, and i smoke nowadays too, but it is occasional. not even once a month. my girlfriend was not a smoker too. i think that falling in love with snuff is just a matter of our hearts. destiny, maybe. who has to like it, will like it at his time.
Snuff isn’t for everybody. convert if you like ,just don’t let them know what your favorite snuff is. There may be a shortage :-B

No, I am not going door-to-door on this mission! =;
Personally I will offer snuff to current nicotine addicts, but would never offer it to someone who isn’t already ensnared. For years I didn’t want to stop smoking - I just wished I’d never started, and I have no interest in starting anyone on any tobacco or nicotine product that isn’t already caught in it’s web. I have a couple of friends who smoke and who’ll have a pinch while I’m around, but doubt they’d take it otherwise. I have also had a couple of non-smokers look interested, but I’ve looked at them solemly and said “No, it still contains nicotine”. This may be a wonderful product and a great way of me getting my fix, but I ain’t taking chances with other people. If they want to try it, that’s entirely up to them - but they ain’t getting their first nic hit off me

Oh, but just think of all the people you’d meet… Bloody hell I think I’d rather set up a snuff club at a pub!
That’s a better idea. Do you have Meetup in NZ? I’ve been thinking about starting a snuff meetup here and see what happens. http://www.meetup.com/
Every season when I am working on the farm, I have a few guys that I got into snuff and want a pinch when I am around. Mostly because the boss man is really strict about smoking but has no problem with smokeless tobacco. One guy still asks for a pinch whenever we meet on the street during the off season.

I couldn’t agree more. And I immediately thought of my 3 boys. I love that I found snuff. But I wouldn’t introduce it them when their older.
Personally I’ve been snuffing before I was even ten, my family has a strong snuff making tradition and it’s a big thing in the family. I’m not a smoker and also not a heavy snuffer, its purely for the enjoyment of snuff and it’s all about being part of the history of snuff taking. So would I introduce it to my kids, definitely. They can snuff at my knee just as I did as my gran carefully toasted her snuff in a large crock pot in the oven.
