If you have a really BIG nose do you get a bigger buzz from snuff than someone with a small nose? Assumeing that they take the same size hit. I’m serious here. It would make sense to me that they would. Does anyone know for sure. PP
I think it depends on the size of the hit. It’s a surface area thing. The more capalries that are hit the more you could absorb. Though if you take a small pinch there won’t be more to get happening. Then again to be more rational you could ask does having a bigger nose contribute to getting a bigger buzz from snuff. Example babies have tiny noses but man do they get hyper with a tiny little pinch. Of course I’am joking about the babies with snuff.
It would depend on the persons body size and their tolerance to nicotine. I’m a bigger guy and therefore takes more tobacco or alcohol to get the effect a smaller guy would have doing less. If two equally sized people with one having a larger nose take the same size hit, they would have the same amount of tobacco in their nose. A bigger internal size of nose might give you quicker nicotine absorption because it would be spread out thinner over a wider area. But I think the overall ‘buzz would be the same’? It would just take a little longer for full absorption with the smaller nose. So I think it would come on quicker but not necessarily stronger. But a person with a bigger nose could shovel more up there.
“But a person with a bigger nose could shovel more up there.” Which is great, becuase as we age our noses (and earlobes) continue to grow. So as we get older, we’ll be able to enjoy snuff more as we go.
My wife always makes fun of my “tiny” nose, but I seem to get enough of a lift from the snuff. But it would make sense that with more surface area, more nicotine would be released into the bloodstream at once.

Ive got a massive conk, perfect for shovelling it in. Maybe Ive been getting a better buz than others and not noticed it? Is this why I like snuff so much?
I love to bring up old threads to keep the mods on their toes. The person with the bigger nose could very well have a higher nicotine dosage but could also have a larger tolerance or just a slightly different chemistry going on too many variables to say for sure but bob is correct in the sense if they had the exact same tolerance and chemistry the one with more surface areas should get more of a buzz and definitely a higher nicotine blood content. That’s not the case with various parts of the body and nerve endings. It may be that a larger nose has the same number of capillaries as a smaller one; they’re just more spread out. If so, the absorption of nicotine would be about the same.
