So im about to order some N C Arya Madras Snuff, the only problem is i can only order it by the case (20 50g tubes). Was wondering if i order a case if any body would be interested in trying it? Ill ship you 1 tube anywhere in the lower 48 for $5 shipped or if you want more than one you can have as many as you want for an extra $2 per tube. It is supposed to sort of resemble toque whiskey and honey, but don’t take my word for it because I’ve not tried it yet, anyway let me know if you want to go in on some of this because to me ordering a case of something I’ve never tried seems like a bad idea unless i could find others to share it with.

I might be interested. I read a description that says it’s fried in ghee. What is ghee and why do they fry tobacco in it?

Ghee is clarified butter. Basically it will be a greased snuff, rather than a dry or moist (with water) snuff.

J

Thanks for the information. I may just give a tube a go.

It is a good snuff , I bought some awhile back myself , so you will enjoy it . G’Day

Im interested. Where do I sign?

I’m in for a few! I will take 5 if you want to split that many.

Ok so i just ordered it, only thing is im a truck driver and only get home 4 days a month. I should be home sometime between Christmas and the first of the year so im going to tell everyone to message me on here around Christmas time and i can start shipping some snuff out. If everything goes well i plan on doing this with other snuffs on hookah1 i want to sample.

I drove trucks for six years so I understand. Do you stay in a region or run all 48 ?

I am interested in splitting other orders too.

C

I do all 48. Im on a Walmart dedicated fleet so i basically do a big 30 day circle of the country starting in Detroit and ending in Detroit, but yeah I’ll let you all know when i get home and i wouldnt mind splitting more orders, let me know what you have in mind.

Sounds like a good deal.

I pulled a Reefer OTR but didn’t like the 6+ weeks on the road.

Hauled Cotton for awhile out of West Texas to BNSF Railhead in Haslet Tx.

Delivered furniture for a Wholesale outfit all over Tx, Ok, La.

Ran dedicated from Texas to Mississippi 3 times a week. It was a great job, home every other night and pay was good. I figured out boss was an addict that couldn’t pay his bills on time. Found out I was driving his truck for 4 months with no Insurance ! I expressed my opinion on that matter in the nicest way I could, but found myself unemployed.

After all that mess I decided I was through with it. Started my own business making pipes full time and never looked back since.

If you find yourself on I-20 between Shreveport and Dallas, hit me up. I’ll buy you lunch in Canton !

C

I defiantly will, im usually down in Texas every other week, but i dont stray to far from I-10 and dont go any further east than Dallas. I go to the Wal-Mart DC in Terrel to drop and then usually get loaded up at a USA cold storage in Arlington and then head up to Chicago to drop that mess at another Wal-Mart. I’m over at Crete Carrier but started hauling a flatbed for Melton, i been trying to save so i can finance my own truck and go independent and avoid the whole “company lease purchase” scam.

A

Give me a heads up if you’ll be in Terrell for an hour or two, that is not too far away. I’ll bring snuff !

My Dad drove his whole life, my brother drove for 30+ years. You can make a little more as an O/O but more often, company drivers do better long term. A lot has to go right to do better as an O/O, you have to keep a tight grip on everything, and stay pretty lucky too. A company driver at least gets a check twice a month!

There are exceptions, some guys do a lot better. More often, guys just think they’re doing better. Crunch the numbers for a few years with every tax, fee, repair and expense against all your settlements, and you might have a year you could have stayed home and done just as well !

Oilfield work is where the money is, if they start hiring again. Six figure jobs out there.
