I'm very excited about my new tobacco's

SG SP #1 high mill. This stuff is just plain EXCELLENT. A little smoky SP. Don’t know how to describe it. Very satisfying all day snuff. Light brown semi-fine dryish. Nice little burn and delicious. SG SP Scotch. Similar to above, but a bit smokier and also an excellent all day. Light brown semi-fine dryish. Nice little burn and delicious. And…I got 3 different Bernard Schmalzers…Brasil Double Fermented, Fresco, and Feintz. All are very similar with Brasil DF being the least oily. They all have kind of a similar Maple oily heavy flavour and are just delicious. Because they are so heavy on the nose from the oil, I probably wouldn’t prefer any of them for an all day snuff, but they are very nice and different and make a nice change of pace. I also got some Kautabacco because I liked the Oliver twist tobacco bits so much…I still prefer the tobacco bits, but these are good…they just have more of an old man flavour. Lastly, I got me a 25 gram Toffee flavoured pigtail (rope tobacco). I liked chewing this kind of spun tobacco before, but this is GH rope, and I didn’t like the taste as much so I cut some up and put it in my pipe…now it shines! I don’t like to break it up much- I just cut round pieces about a mm thick and pack it snug- but not too snug just like Flake tobacco. Very nice flavour, smokes very, very well and HIGH nicotine content…it will have you sweating! Very nice stuff. And, of course I received (very quickly at that) my 2 new boxes from one for the road! Man these 2 boxes are even nicer than my last order! I can’t say enough about these snuff boxes. They are perfect and hold exactly the amount I need for a day’s snuffing on the road (maybe 3 grams or so not including morning or night.) I like them because I don’t like to carry too much and prefer just enough so my snuff is always fresh. The seal is tight enough however, so it’s fine to store snuff in them and they will stay fresh. I prefer them over the Sharrow boxes, because the Sharrow boxes have a groove on the lid that fine snuff gets stuck into and falls all over the place every time I open the lid. Though I like my Sharrow box for longer trips and I usually pack it full of some kind of SP snuff…it will hold over 10 grams. Happy days are here…all I need is my snuff box, and I’m content. How many people in this world can say that about something 4 x 2.5 x 1 cm large!

I’ve had some toque espresso in a onefortheroad box for about 3 weeks and its still moist. Granted, I haven’t been opening and closing it, (been trying some other stuff and didnt feel like dumping the box and replacing with something else) but its certainly got a tight seal.

That’s great Bryan. I love the GH ropes.

Thanks for the thoughts on Bernard Schmalzers. I am hoping snuff store will stock them soon otherwise, it’s smoking shop or Rajeks. On antoher note , How large are the snuff boxes by onefortheroad? Would you class them as Poschls President, GH or McChrystal box size? Thx ld

Bernard will sell his Schmalzlers only in 10 gram tins in the future, its a good idea to buy the remaining cheaper 50 gram bags…

They will hold maybe 5 grams? About a day’s worth of snuff. I seriously recommend them. You won’t be dissapointed. I don’t think anyone could be. They are a little bigger then a President size tin.

In my opinion the day a new order of snuff arrives is like a mini Christmas. So many new varieties to try.
