Hello everyone, I am back after a couple years hiatus from the forum. So just wanted to say hello, and am thankful that the forum is still here and still active. I’ve recently quit smoking, and so - since I never completely ceased using snuff - I find I am using snuff a lot more often. I have almost exclusively stuck to Fribourg & Treyer snuffs, my favorites being Old Paris and Santo Domingo. (On a side note I found that my last order the snuff in my Old Paris tin wasn’t what it used to be. It wasn’t as dark or as moist. Maybe it was just me?? Has Sharrow Mills changed anything???) I haven’t tried all of the F&T line, but I suppose I should, someday. I just ordered some Abraxas coarse. Is this really a good snuff? Thoughts? Finally, I am curious as to the general levels of nicotine in F&T snuffs? Which ones have a higher nicotine content, which ones are on the lower end. I know that there are other snuffs out there that have high nicotine contents, such as Three Thistles, Red Bull, etc, but I am not a big fan of those snuffs. I gave them a try, and while they do have a high nicotine content, I merely didn’t enjoy them. So my question is about the F&T range. Thanks guys!
Abraxas is one of the best.
Since finally going against my intuition and actually taking the advice of many here, I have become something of an evangelist for big pinches. A couple of big pinches of pretty much any snuff will give you plenty of nicotine.
Big pinches of HDT surely?
Apparently Santo Domingo has a higher (than the average F&T) nicotine content. I’ll try bigger pinches, and I’ll order some HDT. Haven’t had that in a while. Thanks guys!
@doctorbeat you had no choice but to succumb to the “big pinch”.
Haha.

F&T HDT RULES - Still a daily snuff for me. For bumping up the nicotine you can add some Dholakia White to any snuff.
Hey, Great to see/hear from you @basement_shaman… it has been a long time…
