I found that I can take ANY mentholated / peppermint snuff easy and much of at the same time. Anybody has the same and any idea why ? Yesterday had a medicated day… Toque Menthol / Peppermint / Blueberry Menthol , Wilson Nr 22 ( Empty! ) Kralingse peppermint. All so easy to take. Why is this ? Maybe it’s just a mental thing for me and I just do it instead of thinking to much ? No throat hits or whatsoever.
I find the same… out of the nasal snuff i’ve been taking all the menthol ones. Would like to try the peppermint one though.
Mint oil is a natural local anaesthetic too, so it might stifle a sneeze/cough…
The essential oils used to flavor the mentholated snuffs seem to make it a little bit heavier also…this makes it less “dusty” and not as likely to proceed past the nasal cavity.
I have found that scent in snuff provides an awareness as to where the snuff is going up the nose making it easier to direct through the natural contortive reactions of the inner sanctum. Purely fantastical conjecture, but I stand by this theory.

I likewise agree with Jux’s theory. Once one becomes that acutely aware he has become one with the snuff. He has become something of a Snuff Jedi.
Strangely, I never find any snuffs to be “easy” or difficult, simply pleasant because I like the flavour/aroma or unpleasant if I do not. I see much about scotches being for experienced snuffers for instance, but I have only been using snuff for about 8 months and can take as many pinches of Bruton as any other snuff, I just don’t enjoy it as much as, say, an SP or a Hopfenschnuf.
I’m trying to picture Obi Wan trying to teach Luke how to pinch O&G. As far as Yoda goes, you know that little dude was hittin’ some serious amounts of scotch or Dholakia White…

@SleepWalker if you want to try some peppermint snuff, i cant recommend McC Supermint to you. i got it with my last order the first time and it is awesome rush of spearmint/peppermint taste in the nose.
im waiting for the snuffsnobs to come along and remind us that to use anything but dry fine unscented snuff that has passed through the gut of some rare animal is frightfully common.
I’m going to mix some toque peppermint with toque menthol and kralingse peppermint. Triple fresh I call it.
