I lost another snuff box on sunday. This makes two ive lost and i now need to order more pronto. I even ran thru traffic to see if it fell out when I crossed the street. Luckily it was one of the plastic inexpensive mrsnuff boxes but I was still pretty mad about it. I just filled it up with gold label for the next couple days use. Anyway I was thinking about adding a loop or seeing if I can drill a small hole thru one of the corners to put a key ring in it. Then adding one of those wallet chains to it so I will never loose one again. Unfortunately I have to wait for my next order to get one and see if that will work. But when if comes I will try it out and let you know if its possible.
That’s why I never leave the house with a decent one, the plastic are good enough and replaceable, still a shame when one goes tho.
I lost one of my titanium cylinder snuff containers ones, which I think cost about $35, I also lost a plastic smashbox on another occasion.
About 3 weeks ago, I lost a Toque Bullet while Golfing. I had backtracked a little to look for it but no luck. Today I picked up my neighbor, who I was with at the time, and he handed me my bullet. He was out on the course earlier in the week, and went to address his ball, and there was my bullet sitting a few inches away in the grass.

@3_D… Cool he found it! Your neighbor a cop?detective… Work crime scenes? Finding bullets? Did he takes pictures of the bullet with the numbered yellow plaque card next to it…? € ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ >>>> OBVIOUSLY TIME FOR BED
I keep mine in a zippo lighter holster attached to my belt. it has a snap to keep shut and no fumbling through pockets to find one.the snap on the belt loop I super glued shut. Had trouble with it but no longer. Sorry for your loss! Mr.Snuff sells a wooden one with key chain attachment https://mistersnuff.com/catalog/snuffbox-laser-inlay-keychain-cross-p-957.html

That sucks…sorry for your loss. I lost my favorite Heartwood box a few weeks ago and had a coniption fit…but I found it the next day in a place I would have never looked if I wasn’t freaking out. So now if I know I’m going to be running around or taking my jacket off alo,t I just put the day’s snuff in cheapie smashboxes. I don’t freak out if I lose a smashbox, and I’ve lost about 6 already.
I received two more of those snuff boxed but i just couldn’t bring myself to try drilling a hole incase it didn’t work or broke it. I’m just trying to be more careful as to where I put my snuff boxes.
Having availed myself of a couple of nice boxes recently, the prospect of losing one is my worst nightmare! The problem is, I bought them to use everyday, and I’m going to do so - I guess I just have to try and be careful. If it’s *always* in my pocket while out then I will probably instinctively check for it on a regular basis, as with my phone.
I’ve lost 2 heartwood boxes and had one with inlay break on me when I dropped it.
I sure wish that Mr. Snuff would stock up on some 3" Engraved heartwood boxes instead of carrying all of those inlay ones… Engraved boxes take a lot more abuse.
I currently have 2 Poschl boxes. Sure would like to replace my McChrystal’s box or get a “Mr. Snuff” box (hint, hint…)
I’ve been waiting for the black mrsnuff boxes to come in for some time now. Looking forward to getting it back.
A very nice snuff box fell out of my pocket today without me knowing it. Fortunately I found it on the floor of the vehicle I was driving. I won’t use that phone pocket again.
