…and it was good… I read all the reviews I could. My fav was the one on mrsnuff about it smelling like a crowd of people…well throw in shrimpy fishy smell and awesome grind… And that about explains it. I ignored all the warnings cause I snuff Copenhagen and Taxi Red and Blue and NTSU… Little tiny pinches won’t kill the finches… Wierd thing…I could have told you this was from India even had they not told me…
Scoop a teeny tiny bit in your fingernail and let it get way up there…I’m not trying to encourage snuff abuse so if you are a noob RUN!!
Another pinch and I feel like I just got a fresh crisp 5 dolla bill for a penny…don’t ever try this snuff or ones like it if you enjoy the low nic stuff…

Haaahaahaa great post!! I’m a big fan of D White as well.
D white is king of the hill. His younger brothers snafu and wille pete keeps trying to knock him down. The White Elephant claim a smaller mound unavailible for contenders.
Dholakia White is one of my fravorites, it goes well with almost anything and is awesome all by itself. =D>
White Elephant (for us lucky few that have it) is a frikkin powerhouse and I love it.

How does White Elephant compare to Dholakia White? I just my tin of 6 photo cheeta in the mail. So it’s looking a bit Indie tonite if you know what I mean… For some reason that scene in Indiana Jones with the vampire bats and the SWEETHEART…AH NEVERMIND>>
@Camu it’s DWhite without the fishy smell basically.
I like the fishy smell in D White. It is a bugger to take though. I can’t imagine what they do to make it so fine.
Well, I just took a couple of big pinches of the DW…now I gotta stuff my brain back in through my ears. The undisputed Tsar Bomba of snuffs.
I am going to ride the W.E. 41

I’m stupid…and dumb…please explain…
@Dhrun I feel your pain. The first time I took it I fired it into my eustachian tubes. Luckily I have FUBAR medic to help me out.

I’m so new to snuff…HAVE I REALLY SNUFFED THE KING OF THE HILL?
I have snuffed lots of Dholakia White and it has a great kick but Willie Pete may be a bit stronger nic wise. For me it is hard to tell, either way they are both pretty hardcore.
Last week I ordered a 50 gram tin of Dholakia White and I’m very curious how it compares to the White Elephant. The latter is very hard to find in Europe (although Günter Hartmann at snuffstore.de appears to stock it), but to my utter amazement I found it in a small monastery shop in Mongolia (of all places) last spring. (In fact Mongolia has a surviving snuff culture, much akin to the Chinese, about which I hope to read and write a bit in the related topic.) It has taken me a while to master the technique of sniffing Elephant, which is ground extremely fine, without going into tearful coughing fits. The secret is taking a good deep breath first, then sniff while pressing your tongue against the palate. Lovely stuff, slightly fishy, salty, earthy. I’m not quite sure it’s intended as snuff at all, apparently in India people rub it on their gums or so. According to Hartmann’s site, Dholakia White ‘ist auch bekannt unter dem Namen 41 Elephant Indian White Snuff’, which is to say that DW and Elephant are in fact the same product. Somehow I’m not quite sure about that, but I will submit the test results once the DW arrives. Can’t wait.
apperantily white snuff is the rage in mongolia. I’ve read articles about their nomads and they aways describe how fine their nasal snuff is and how painfull. The indian manufactuers say they sell a lot of the whites to mongolia.
@Matou you may want to read this if you haven’t already: http://snuffhouse.org/discussion/6066/mongolian-snuff-culture#latest There’s more bits of information about Mongolia scattered throughout other posts as well.
A bit off topic but anyway: @Xander Very interesting post, was hoping to add a little bit to that discussion but it’s closed, I may open a new one some time soon. @bob Yes indeed, White Elephant is quite readily available there. Perhaps because it blends in well with the (very) dusty air and the light but sharp (and not unpleasant) aroma of finely ground sheep dung that sticks to everything. (Not joking here.)
