I just found some really neat spoons to use with snuff here’s the link to them on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/Norpro-Mini-Measuring-Spoon-Set-5-Pc-18-10-S-S-NEW-/270676830447?pt=LH\\_DefaultDomain\\_0&hash=item3f0598a8ef I am not the seller or in no way associated with the seller. I think they look like they’d be pretty darn handy for use with snuffs. The sizes look small enough and it’s handy that they’re metal and on a ring and would fit in my pocket. Tell me what you think?

I have a very similar three piece set, dash, pinch and smidgen. For me, the smallest size (smidgen) is still way too big (for me) to use as a snuff spoon. The drop size could be good, I don’t know. Regardless, I use my spoons daily. The pinch size is perfect for filling my bullets, the dash size works well for transferring snuff from from the bigger containers into my papermart tins.

I have a set pretty much exactly the same as that. I only use the smallest and the next to largest. The small ones like miamimark said are a bit too big, but still works for filling bullets and such and I use use the big one to fill my boxes.

Thanks guys I think I’ll pass on getting them since they’re going to be too big for snuff.

I’m a container freak; I have cabinets full of every kind of box. bottle and bag you can imagine and yes, some of them contain snuff. Now I’m finding out that I’m also a small spoon freak, so I think I might spring for these anyway… Thanks for the link!

Even if you don’t use them for snuff, those spoon sets would make cute small gifts for anyone who likes to cook. Thanks for the link.

I personally like/use the silver salt spoons available on eBay.

I think a Czech pipe tool is the best spoon and the rod is perfect for stirring the snuff and the tamper is good to pack down and level out overflowing tins.

@n9inchnails Have you been watchin me?? LOL! I do the same thing.

I aquired a really neat spoon from a company called Towel that makes flatware. It has a pin attached. Some companies make small spoons to be given away at stores.

Before I forget, the neatest thing I use is a pharmacy tool. Its the tool they use for mixing powders etc. it works great for transfering snuf

Salt spoons are great. A lot of websites in the past had snuff spoons that were actually just salt spoons. Although i’m not sure if there is really a difference except in what they are dipping out. There is a great site i will try and find again and post that has tons of different sterling silver salt spoons at a pretty low price. I just have to find the site again…

http://www.lookintheattic.com/salt-spoons-cellars.html Found it. I forgot i wrote the web address down and put it in my wallet.

I had a great spoon from that site. Sadly Its been lost.

T

I like the little shovel.

B

think I might get the snake one once I pay off my minor debts.

P

lots of department stores carry the “pinch, dash, smidgen, etc.” measuring spoons in the cooking section. check the cheesy old lady stores that smell like potpourri too. side note: i’m so glad there isn’t potpourri snuff! that stuff makes me want to puke.

salt spoons are larger than snuff spoons

B

but are more stylin.

J

The spoons are great. That site Look In The Attic also has silver boxes. Not sure if they are big enough. I like the shovel spoon. Funny.

K

I use a cheap lobster fork, the one for the small legs. It works great because it’s concave it can hold some decent amount of snuff if you like.

P

i just use a pipe tool spoon

T

I also will carve my own out of little pieces of wood. That way if i lose them or something happens to them, im not out any money. They don’t exactly look the best but they work.
