I HAVE AN IDEA!

So over the few months on this forum I have noticed a common theme. People like to post discussions about different snuffs that they have either heard of or just added to their collection. This leads to conversations about the snuff in question. And also seems to remind people what they have in their collection and decide to dig it out to also give their own two cents. That being said I was wondering if people would like to create a Sticky that features a “Snuff of the Week” (we could figure out how to decide what snuff to list each week) and then during that week we talk about that specific snuff. Those who have it can talk about what they like or dislike about it, and those who don’t have it can determine whether or not to add it to their list of things to one day buy. This would be a great thing to do during this whole PACT Act thing because we can stop worrying about ordering snuff and just enjoy the ones we already have.

Well, there is a search function but folks seem not to use it but start a new thread whenever they try new snuffs, like have you ever had High Dry Toast and so on?!

To be honest that’s what i like about this forum , it is not a technical support site where the same solution gets posted over and over again. Every time someone new asks about a particular snuff i might have a different think to say about it , snuff grows on you and perception of a particular flavor might evolve , not to mention that snuff itself matures and changes the longer you keep it. This makes it a personal experience for every member and is what keeps the spirit of snuffhouse alive. As giaach said , it reminds you to check your own tin of the stuff once in a while (which is important when your collection starts to grow). I might even venture to say(though i have no mathematical proof) that resource-wise it’s a lot more efficient in every aspect except disk space usage for the database , which is the least expensive of all resources when it comes to hosting a website. CPU time and bandwidth are a lot more expensive (and searching through posts will generate a lot more of those).

So let’s get Alex or one of the Mods to set something up like this…

It’s all up to Alex You can email him at:-mail@snuffhouse.org We mods can only delete, sink or close threads, and accept, or decline new members. I, myself thinks it works fine, it’s his site. If you have any ideas, I’m sure he wont mind.

I know I searched before posting my comments on Railroad MIlls. Maybe a category titled Snuff Reviews would be the happy medium. Ken
