I ain't blowing this out, it tastes like fruit

That’s what I’d like to be saying. Looking for quality fruit with very little to no menthol. I’m not interested in toque, sure the wide selection is great but on the same coin it also indicates lack of dedication to any single product. I vape too, and I only use brands with a catalog under 20 flavors. So; what’s your fruit available from Mr. Snuff?

Also, some white. I’m down with a moderate menthol, overall, but non menthol sounds nice. I’ve picked out Magic Moments White so far.

Duty and shipping from the Great Isle is far more on a full cart than from Mann. I’m in ‘Merica (fuck yeah) saving the mother fuckin’ day yeah (at least for fabricators)

Just a heads-up, Magic Moments White is a glucose-based, tobacco-free powder without nicotine.

If you are fond of banana flavour, get your hands on some Pöschl Schmalzler D (Doppelaroma).

You won’t thank me for mentioning Bernard in this context. Magic Moments Black is strawberry and chocolate (at least to my nose).

I agree with @volunge about Pöschl’s Schmalzler D - the tin note is banana and in the nose it reminds me of rich fruit cake.

There’s bound to be an Indian snuff that’s worth trying, but I’m not fond of anything but the plainest Indians so I can’t be of much help. Others will know more than me.

I’m just here for the Steve Brule reference!

As for the Bernards’ offerings, you’d be fortunate to find much right now, charivari is an amazing cherry menthol and I believe has/had a non-tobacco variation too?

Poschl’s schmalzler SF & D are meant to be very fruity and I am looking forward to trying those soon.
Wilson’s Diplomat adds a dose of menthol/eucalyptus to a rich apricot base; I think their ‘Apri’ is the non-menthol version?

Rosinski’s Alter Fritz and Sans Succi are both fantastic orange/menthol snuffs; in that realm, Snuv’s Black Sinesis might be my very favourite (dark tobacco which sits beautifully with their orange/menthol oil mix).

Out of the other fruit snuffs I’ve tried from Mr S… Jungle Fever and Gold Rush - both mango (and both have non/menthol varieties), might suit? I’d describe them more like a supermarket fruit juice than the fruit itself, might be worth a try though.

Thanks. I didn’t even pay attention to the nic or not on that. I am curious about glucose and sucrose powders in general for a bit of scrub before the rinse. I have gut issues and the fructose powder may irritate that. As much as I like tobacco, the whites infused make more sense to me than all white snus offerings.

SF is very tropical fruit, D is more banana bread. Both are fantastic, but SF might be more what you are looking for @PriseGletchers.

Also, Poschl’s Bayern FC/Gawith Original is a lovely apricot with a shot of menthol. Sweet and stone fruit and, to my nose, more a fruit snuff with a shot of menthol and less a menthol with a shot of fruit.

You dont want to hear it but Toque Peach and as to your comment about “wide selection is great but on the same coin it also indicates lack of dedication to any single product” until recent laws forced them to drastically reduce their product line both Wilson of Sharrow and Samuel Gawith had way more snuffs then Toque ever had and they are widely regarded as the finest snuff makers in the world.

Sorry to recommend Toque even if you don´t want to hear it but to me they do the best fruit flavours, I recommend the Apricot and the Pomegranate, both are excellent.

Other people say high praises of their Grapefruit and Blueberry but this two don´t agree with my palate.

Most other makers usually lace their fruit snuffs with menthol so it will be difficult to find them besides Toque.

Is toque worth the $0.60 a gram, after duty and shipping? $0.25 a gram is what it’s advertised at. I’m not sure I could tastes much more than sour after the 2 governments sticking their fingers in my tin. I’m asking because I know we have European and British users here, so €0,55 or 47p respectively. I could recommend some fruit ejuice that is fantastic, but I pay $0.09 a ml that price after shipping and duty to Europe would be ~€0,3, and honestly it’s not that good.

Well, depends on how you purchase it I guess?
The smaller tins would out more on the gram, but the economy pouches slash that considerably…
I’m in the UK, a 10G tin of Toque Apricot is 1.99 (excluding postage) - 0.19/G
A 50G pouch at 7.49 comes down to 0.15/G and a 400G pouch 0.09/G

This is before factoring in the available to anyone 10% discount

I don’t mind the price increase against vaping, I get to bump wherever I am while my vape buddies largely have to shuffle outside and I don’t have to faff with coils, oils or otherwise maintain anything.

For your nicotine!

Just a heads up about Schmalzler SF and D. They definitely have fruity notes, but like the others mentioned, it’s more like a fruit cake / banana bread sort of scent, not straight fruit. They’re both great, just want to be clear that they’re more nutty/bready than fruity.

The only straight fruity snuffs I’ve had so far that actually smell like fruit are Toque Strawberry and Toque Blueberry.

Also Wow Concord Grape its like Welch’s Grape juice in the nose. Wow no longer exists but it was made by Dholakia and Dholakia now has a Concord Grape snuff which I assume is the same.

It takes me about 1-2 months to finish a 10g tin. I consistently uptake nicotine through varied means, except cigs. So I try to stay away from bulk, but I don’t think the Mrs has ever been in my smokey drawer, all those jars, it looks like a hipster potluck in there.

Thank you for bringing that brand to my attention. The Singh family from my home town, some of the brothers that didn’t wear the cultural costume would goad afro/anglo/latino locals into taking a sniff of whatever rustica they had in their pocket. It was always like getting punched in the face by a dark skinned George Michael. It’s about time to man up and try some East Indian snuff again.

The Singh’s own an entire strip mall and the business; market, liquor store, restaurant and tobacconist…just for some context how they were in contact with everyone. Heck, when I was a kid they’d feed us vegetarian snacks at the bus stop so they weren’t culling their stock and we stayed healthful.

Like every other eff toque post on here…NOW IM A BELIEVER!

Now for the toque questions. I’m looking at, cherry, St Clement and some Rose :rose:. I’m hoping for cherry to be plum notes with a aromatic sweetness. Would apricot maybe be better? St Clement… I’m from citrus country, bring it. Is rose a heavy perfume or more rose water in presentation. I see it’s dry/medium grind, :crossed_fingers: maybe the Welsh know what’s up.

Suggestions, comments, ”ahtodasos"

Glad you give Toque fruit flavours a try, they certainly deserve some attention.

Never tried the cherry flavour.

The St. Clements has citric tones but it is not straight upfront orange, it´s a good snuff but to my nose the tobacco aroma dominates and the citric notes are accents to the mix.

I like very much the apricot, it´s creamy sweet apricot type of aroma with the tobacco taking a back seat.

The rose I haven’t tested in a long time, but the last time I tried it was a very real rose, fresh and flowery even with the distinct aroma of cut stem flowers, not perfumy at all.

Hope you find them to your liking.
