Hi: I just received Kendal Dry Orange Snuff and for the life of me I don’t know how to open the tin. If anyone knows how, please let me know. My wife and I have tried everything imaginable, and the tin doesn’t open. Thanks, Jerry.
I’m pretty sure that you only flip open the tab on one of the corners. It has a circular protrusion. Unless I have it mistaken for another brand (which is possible). Is it the dry orange made by Gawith Hoggarth?

you’re welcome! It happened to me as well. I ended up with quite a bit of dry orange snuff all over the back of my hand.
I like popping the tin open. If you notice their or notchs allong the bottom of the tin. If you put a dime in the notch and turn it the tin pops open and after that a finger nail will open the tin easily. I found that with this snuff and their other dry snuffs the best thing to do is ever so slightly point the whole slightly upwards from level and gentle tap untill the powder makes the pile you want to snuff.

Open it over a sheet of paper so you don’t waste any.
Thanks Jack. I’m not above sniffing some spilled snuff off of the paper. I’ve done that a couple of times.
