How to offload snuff in the UK

I lost a good friend last year who had built up a small collection of snuffs and a friend of mine recently quit - I’ve ended up with both of their collections.
My own collection is already fairly sizable and I suspect between these collections, they’ll live on long after my passing.
My understanding is that it’s illegal for me to post snuffs on a domestic level within the UK and I’m not aware of any other users in my region; so I’m wondering if my options are pretty much finding someone local, posting illegally, throwing the lot away or scaling up my uses…

Essentially, what are us folks doing with surplus in the UK?

What do you mean by “illegal”, @Clem? Don’t you procure snuff online from UK-based vendors? As far as I know, the UK allows distance and even cross-border sales of tobacco products, and there are numerous online tobacco stores, each of them using Royal Mail for shipping. Well, vast majority of them, if not all. Even Sharrow & Co uses RM for delivery. Unless the rules were changed, it is legal to mail snuff within the United Kingdom.

You might only face difficulties attempting to mail snuff tobacco to the countries which restrict sending tobacco by mail. The USA falls among such, all three Baltic countries, Croatia, Iceland (snuff, specifically), Italy and some others.

Various courier services have been updated from the domestic angle - so commercial outlets, such as Mr Snuff, can legally send products I’ve purchased, but I cannot send tobacco goods through the post (I could order from a shop and have that sent to my intended recipient, but I can’t just post my cousin some snuff or cigars I have at home).

Are you sure you haven’t been misinformed? Tobacco is not listed among prohibited goods: Prohibited goods - items you can't send through the post

Thanks - it seems I overlooked Royal Mail (I’ve had too many issues in the past) and perhaps I have been misinformed.
The couriers I would usually use have tobacco goods listed as prohibited (doesn’t matter where they are going, just listed as prohibited).

It’s good to know that I might be able to shift some of this stuff to interested parties (UK-only) but it does look like it’s going to get harder for Brits to send such goods in the near future.

If you’ve acquired any Smith’s snuffs and you’re looking for a home for some of them I’d be interested.

It’s mostly stuff bought over the last 18 months - nothing which can’t be bought fairly easily today (with the exception of a couple of Bernard’s offerings: Zweifacher, Tiger and Winterprise, which I’ll be keeping).
Some attempts of mixing their own mixing in various other snuffs with Toque Rustica and essential oils, some Toque bullets and some Taxi and some SG mixes).

It’s illegal to mail cigarettes and vape juice in the US. Dip/snus, cigars and pipe tobacco are restricted by only 3-4 states, each. Snuff is unregulated in the US. Most states don’t even have a tax category for pipe tobacco and snuff. Yes inbound international mail is subject to customs inspection. This country was founded on tobacco. Sniff it if you got it.
