I did a little research and found out unless it is a mom & pop’s store managers can not help and for a good reason. Corparate sends them a list of items for the store, they get to order the amount off the list judging by how much is sold. But… You have a new tool in your hand and it is called a receipt. You use the number to contact corporate giving them the store number (which should also be on the receipt) and simply request the product that you want. It helps if the store carries snuff. I will be trying this with Food Lion next week & hope it works
Ok, so I called Food Lion Corporate (very nice folks) and the lady said that she would pass on the information to see if they can’t stock it for me. I requested Swishers Railroad Mills Checkerberry since it is a hard to find snuff around here. I will give a update if it works
@lunecat If only the rest of us were as fortunate
Pretty Cool
@lunecat very nice, but I don’t think Toque and Sir Walter Scott are selling retail from their established manufacturing site. Our member @Whalen lives a few miles from the Swisher HQ but it’s of little help to him since they won’t sell from their factory. As far as I know, only Wilson’s of Sharrow, Samuel Gawith and de Kralingse molens are the only snuff makers to sell from on site. I could be wrong about that though.
But I bet a tour would be nice and free samples

I’m 20 miles south of Wilson’s, never been to the factory though. Stefan
If I lived close to a operating mill, I would be there. Those places love to do tours
Like a Soylent Green factory, you might not like what you see, Matthefox…
(laughing) on the other hand they might have to call the police on the guy drooling at the gate
