Hello!
This post is directed to those who want to use a fancy white-themed interface in your Snuffhouse - even though I like more the dark-themed one.

1. Go to the profile preferences page:

2. Go to the Interface section:

3. Change the Color Scheme from Dark to WCAG Light and uncheck the Enable automatic dark mode color scheme checkbox:

And there you go! Tell us what do you think about the new white theme .

Hi Carlos. I don’t appear to have the Interface link in my profile. I have logged out and back in. I’ve of course looked at the Expanded view as well. Perhaps this new feature will take time to propagate? Thanks!

I found the WCAG option yesterday and set it up. When I returned this morning the interface had reverted to normal and the WCAG option had disappeared. But on seeing your post I checked and it has reappeared so Ive set that up and its now working across different browsers and OSs.

Are you seeing any menu items in your profile?
As per my reply to Carlos above when I logged on this morning the interface had reverted to a weird colour scheme where it was impossible to read the items in the menu but by hovering my mouse pointer over the menu I could see the links showing at the bottom of my browser and that allowed me to find what I needed.

After too many years working with computers its just second nature now to look for alternative solutions when problems like this occur.

Haha, I’m embarrassed, I do IT for a living and should have thought of that.

I’m not an IT professional but I’m so old that I learnt to program on an Apple II and I’ve used CPM, MS-DOS, Macs, Windows and for many years mainly Linux so I’ve dealt with a lot of recalcitrant machines and interfaces.
I couldn’t program anything these days but I can usually find a way to sort out problems.
Thanks for all your work on the new system here. It takes a bit of getting used to but its a big improvement.

Back on white, thanks! It will be easier for me to adapt to the new forum that way chiming in from my old machine, but I’ll be sticking to the black background on mobile.

Oddly enough, the light background option has disappeared.

I’ve saved that in my profile, but it still goes back to dark. This morning, after again changing it to light and saving it, it was fine (for a while). It has just now gone to black on blue, which while better than white on black is still hard to read (for my eyes, anyway).

Same here. There are only two colour schemes - Dark and Solarized Light (this black on blue thing):

OK, now I have the nice black on beige/grey. I like it. Hopefully it will stay.
