How Often?

How often does everyone here take a pinch? I seem to want one about every hour or even more frequently.

It depends. Just adjust to your feelings and use it for pleasure, not as a necessity. I use it 3-5 times a day. Sometimes much more and sometimes not at all.

Anywhere from every 10 minutes to every half hour-hour or so. Just depends if I am preoccupied with something or not.

What TS said, but add it up to 1 hour if I’m preoccupied.

Usually about every 10 minutes or so from the time I wake up till the time I go to bed.

2 or 3 times at work, every 10-20 minutes at home

As often as you like! Stefan

when I get the itch. Which yes depends on what I’am doing. If not much or just hanging out about every five minutes if I’am engaged in something probably once to twice an hour.

Hi all, I’ve been snuffing about a week now, and in addition to how often everyone is taking a pinch I’m interested in about how much everyone is using a day. Thanks.

I usually start my day with a pinch and then follow whenever it sounds good, maybe 8:30am, maybe 11:30a, who knows I may wait until 6:00pm, but, for the most part, I just take a pinch whenever I feel like it and don’t worry about it. I figure my box is on me; if i miss a pinch no harm no foul.

Hi Hud, dont know what I use in grams and ounces but snuff has now completely taken over from my 30 a day cigarette habit, to begin with I snuffed whenever I wanted a cig, now, as said before, maybe 20 times or so at home. The weird thing for me is that although its replaced cigs, I dont feel like I’m addicted in the same way. Many times Ive left my snuff at home and gone to work and been fine, cant explain it really but it makes me think that snuff is the ideal replacement. It took a few weeks to make the switch but now Im convinced cigarettes are history for me, and I had perviously done patches, gum, the works. If the insane politicaly correct brigade would allow some responsible snuff advertising a lot of lives would be saved.

Seriously tobacco is very hard to quit and more people don’t even know that one form or another is very diffrent as far as ones health. I love how people will act like snuff is just as bad for them as smokeing cigerattes. But because these nimrods don’t think they can encourage any vice and still live in their idiotic white tower moral high horse they’d rather let the myth persist that tobacco is bad. I’ve even heard one moron say (someone who could actualy help this problem a bit) if we say that snuffing is virtualy safe more people will use that as an excuse to start smoking. I think that it should be taught in health classes that every diffrent type of tobacco use is diffrent for your health (I got taught that unofficaly in health class as my teacher was an old guy who smoked a pipe his line was something like “o.k. all tobacco equals bad you die, now on an unrelated note have you ever noticed there are lots of health old pipe smokers?”)

That would be wonderfull.

It would. it would be a more peaceful world without them.

I was watching some news program about companies and insurance carriers giving incentives and/or fines for personal lifestyle habits. Penalties for what you do on your personal time?! Things that are legal no less! How can they get away with judging someones weight and diet. What they aren’t thinking about is that there is no way to draw the line when this type of intrusion into one’s personal life outside of the workplace is accepted. It’s got to be stopped now. If it’s tobacco use and fast food now it will inevitably turn into “so-and-so was seen cutting his lawn with one of those dangerous lawn mower things!, he’s an insurance risk, lets charge him $100/month extra for his unsurance, like the smokers.” what about swimming, or any sports where you can get hurt or killed? what about the odds of getting killed in a car on the way to work? A bicycle on a public roadway! tisk, tisk. Big Brother has got to lay off. I’m still pissed about the seat belt laws, I prefer to use mine and I think it’s the way to go, but it’s my choice! And I’m still trying to figure out how you can pass a seatbelt law without first banning all use of motorcycles. I like motorcycles but it seems there’s been an oversight here. ok, I’ll shut up now.

And no seat belts on a bus, especially a school bus is odd. One thing I just heard on news was interesting. The Marriott’s hotel chain has gone smoke free. There is actually a new hotel in Chicago giving cash incentives to employees who catch guests smoking. They say it cost over $500 and 2 days to fully get the smoke out of a room. And if your caught smoking in the hotel, they charge something like $200 to your room bill.

As often as the urge for a few pinches occur. I’ve got up in the middle of the night to take a “whiz” and on the way back to bed the urge struck, yes I had a few snorts. It’s what I like about snuff. It doesn’t take long to get your enjoyment & get back to what you were doing. Paul Z

I snuff when I want to. For me that’s maybe 10 pinches a day.

When I’m busy doing something I’ll snuff 1 or 2 times per hour, when I’m killing time at home or work probably 3 or 4 times per hour, and when I’m reading this forum I snuff every 5 minutes or less for some reason
