Good Day Fellow Snuffers, How often do you snuff? My stash of Rooster is depleting at an alarming rate. …I can’t get enough snuff!..I need more snuff! Have a great snuff day everyone!
It varies a great deal depending on where I am, what Im doing and how I feel etc etc. On a ‘normal’ day it will be about every 20 minutes or so. I also mix up my snuffing habit and use some dip and chew every now and then plus the occasional smoke. Can I just say what a fantastic picture that is; piles of snuff next to a nice cup of coffee, add a beer and it would be perfect!
I use a big pinch say every 10 - 30 mins depending and when I get home I usually have a nice dip of Skoal Classic or Copenhagen LC. Love snuff as my primary means but nothing beats a nice dip in the evening to unwind
Thanks Guys, I dipped Copenhagen for 40 years,…(It’s the best.)…and have recently switched to nasal snuffs. Probably why I can’t seem to be able to get enuff snuff. I can snuff Rooster every 10 minutes, all day, but still miss the evening Copenhagen.
When I go sit on my back stoep with a cup of strong coffee and my Zebra snuff box filled with Levi Garrett, I take a pinch every time a take a sip of coffee. When I’m in town on business I might go without a pinch for several hours. What I’m saying is, it all depends on what I’m doing and/or where I am. But, make no mistake… I LOVE SNUFF
First of all, Pieter I don’t think anyone here is questioning your love of snuff LOL!! I snuff constantly throughout the day when I’m home, 5-10 pinches an hour. If I’m driving, it’s more like 1-2 pinches an hour. And if I’m busy doing something it’s probably less than 1 pinch an hour. It just depends on what I am doing. When I’m browsing the snuffhouse for instance it’s a pinch every couple minutes.
I am snuffing like Leman. It is an alarming rate! Maybe too much?? Too much of a good thing??? Maybe I should not think about it, just snuff away…
Maybe you should stop dumping your snuff on the counter then, Tin Can. But thanks for the pics. I never really thought about the color differences in those snuffs, quite impressive really.

Since I got off the bullets to pinching, I’m like a kid with a new toy. Sometimes I seem like I snuffed a bus the pinch is so big and I’m like ‘kewl,’ no worries, no drip no drain no sneeze (a little nose wrinkling will do thank you very much) no blow, wow. Then I’ll try to get a truck in there with the bus. In…sane. I need to calm down. But I’ve been finding a ‘spin,’ a term from my bicycle racing days when it’s really flowing. Yes, I need to calm down. Yes. Om.
Wow…just reading that was a rush, Herzl. Ha! I snuff in spurts throughout the day because I have 2-3 hour periods where snuffing wouldn’t be acceptable. I tend to snuff much more while on a drive. I like that it only takes a second to do. Now, left to snuff at will I hit it four or five times in an hour then I forget about it for a while. I get into doing something and then a little later I feel like another pinch. Sometimes it’s another round of pinches, sometimes it’s just one or two. I have a sterk snus right when I get up with my morning decaf coffee. Then I have a regular portion snus if I get to sit and have a real cup of coffee with my wife in the early afternoon, otherwise I usually have a snus in the evening too…sometimes with a drink. My nose is getting conditioned enough now where I can rely solely on snuff. I’d probably consume less nic in the long run. That being said, I started the day with HDT a couple of mornings ago and well…it was a much faster entry into the day.
About every 30 seconds I pinch! My consumption of snuff is hilarious :o)
It really depends what I’m doing. When I’m at home, as I have been for the past few days, I might snuff once an hour, or once every two hours. If I’m out and about I probably wont snuff at all, the only exception being when I’ve had a drink, and even then I’ll only do it around a select bunch of people.
I probably take on average 3 or 4 pinches an hour at the moment, if I have some OT in my lip it could be less. Basically, whenever I feel like a ciggie I take a pinch. Yesterday I was at home and reacquainting myself with some snuffs I hadn’t had for ages, so it was more like 6 or 7 pinches an hour, but it all depends, really.
About once every two two hours during the day, and perhaps once an hour in the evening depending on activities engaged in.
My wife laughs when I get a new shipment of snuff–I sit at the table for about 1/2 hour sniffing through the new ones, the regulars, and then doing it again- about a pinch every 30 sec . Sometimes have to clean my nose out when it gets mixed up-doesn’t really matter though, it’s all good!!! (On a regular day, I pinch every 15-20 minutes, kind of compares to how I used to smoke and it works for me.)
I generally don’t pinch at work or school, but at home I probably pinch 4 to 6 times an hour. It depends how busy my hands are, I suppose.
