I’m attempting to calculate my daily snuff intake and, as I lack a scale, was wondering if anybody happens to know how many grams are in a teaspoon of snuff.

The question is unanswerable. A gram is a unit of mass, and a teaspoon is a unit of volume. That’s like asking “how many feet are in a pound?” The answer would change with each different snuff.

Right. One thing you might try is get a small smash box like 5g and just see how long it last you.

Yeah, i’ve full tins of F&T Princes and Seville and Princes tube is clearly heavier, being quite moist snuff.

F&T tubes vary in content as well… sometimes give or take a couple grams…

I would say in a teaspoon with an average snuff would be about 3 grams

Anglo-Irish teaspoon is massive compared to continental or colonial teaspoon.

A teaspoon is 5ml and a tablespoon is 15ml. At least that’s how it goes in my neighborhood.
