The title says it all… There are so many WoS snuffs, I was wondering how many other Snuffhouse members have tried? Some of their snuffs are variations on the same sort of thing (i.e. Menthol, Menthol Plus, Extra Menthol, SM this-that-and-the-other), but overall there’s a vast range available. The 5g tins are also a good way to try out different kinds without it getting too expensive. Personally, I’ve tried around about 28 different WoS snuffs so far from memory (I used to keep a record but gave up).
If’n we’re counting the F&T line, I’d have had 10… if’n not, only 6. Hopefully, this list will be expanding soon, as I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve had from Wilsons.
About 10 or 15. I’d have to open up my big box to look though. They are all good so far! brandy is my favorite.
Easier to tell you the ones I haven’t tried. My records indicate that I have tried 64 of them. The only ones I haven’t tried are the ones that came out this year, and a few others that held no appeal for me by name: Coffee Cream, Irish Coffee (since I don’t really like coffee much, or cream for that matter), Cherry Menthol and Raspberry (since I heard they had way to much menthol.) I might try the latter two now that I have a higher menthol tolerance.
I don’t keep records but probably 20 or so. My local tobacconist buys in selection boxes of small tins. WoS are a weird company, so many unappealing snuffs and so many fantastic ones.
man … i just counted … 37. purposefully avoided menthols and most fruits. wild. and now i only use a handful - strasbourg, rum&blackberry, CoC, and apple blackcurrant. Some Sherry still in my stash as well.
22, I think. One of which is my constant companion, Jockey Club, and a couple of others of which I re-order with some regularity - various of the SP-types.

Cool, my local tobacconist does that too sometimes! It’s a random way of discovering different snuffs, and when there’s one I really like I can ask them to order some bigger tins. Ordering online is a good thing, but it’s nice to be able to obtain it quick and easy by just nipping into the shop. @Xander - Cherry Menthol has about the same level of menthol as their other mentholated snuffs, really. Whereas Honey Menthol is like Lockets, Cherry Menthol is like Tunes. Raspberry is very nice but I can understand how some people dislike it, as it’s sort of like a raspberry scented air freshener or something, like a mix of fruit, menthol and floral, without being floral but it has that sort of thing. And you can’t get a more confusing description than that.
Not in love with but like 21,still exploring and expanding the collection. So many snuff so little time
34 including F&T’s
31 just WoS, + 14 F&T. On the whole, like F&T better.
82 so far not counting all of the F&T ones (seems like a lot but that’s over the last 40+ years)
@Xander, you can have too much menthol?
this might be the biggest downside of making my own, i no longer venture out and try new snuffs as often as i should!
Like @Xander, it’s easier to list the ones I haven’t had (mostly the newish blends): Sharrow Mentholated Apple Apple Blackcurrant Bubblegum Clove Cool Guarana Dynamite Natural Peach Melba Rum & Raisin
I ordered the Crumbs of Comfort and the Rum & Blackberry a few days ago, being they were both spoken well of by reviewers. Can’t wait to try!
i tried 4 of w&s. Tom buck is very good. I i chose only one it would be tom buck
I just picked up their apple and peppermint. The peppermint has a nice menthol that I can see as my morning snuff to clear open my nostrils
I don’t know but they are a consistently excellent manufacturer - If I had to save one company from the asteroid it would be them (maybe me as well )
I’d pick you cause then you’d owe me and I’d never have to buy snuff again
I’ve only tried the Rosemary and Sandalwood, and I like both of them.
Just the three so far, Chocolate Orange, Cherry Menthol and Apple. Didn’t like the CO, the CM had too much menthol for me (and I do like menthols) but I did like the Apple. It didn’t taste/smell like apple to me at all, but nevertheless it was enjoyable and I’d buy it again
All of them apart from the new ones that came out last year. Also all of the F&TS.

@Xander I don’t know if you like candy snuffs but if you do, the Raspberry is sublime and not over-mentholated. I’d rate it as the best candy snuff out there.
@snuffysnuff Thanks. I’m sure I’ll try it at some point. I think I have had a tin in my shopping cart for months now, just waiting for me to take the plunge.
Maybe 20 don’t hate a one. My favs r grand Cairo, lavender and a few others I’m sure I’m forgetting. Oh-- CoC!
Extra CoC, Jockey Club, Gold Label, Menthol, Country Mint, Lemon Grove, Aniseed Extra.
Somewhere between 8 and 12.
More than not I guess, maybe 60-80% of them… I’m compelled to mention this now and then: WoS Raspberry is raspberry with menthol(a pretty strong amount) and eucalyptus. I’ve been known to take this for a good stretch of time now and then, but this seems to be the embodiment of “not for everyone”. I think it should be considered a bit odd, even for fans of Ozona Raspberry…
The numbers go up about every three weeks.
it probabaly also mentions absolut of violet which I learned was an essential oil derived from the leaves of the plant and not the flower. Great resource and I wish we had published data for WoS’ full range.
Tons better than their website, where you click on a little picture of a tin, and you get… a bigger pcture of a tin!
I have tried about 25…Favorites: Tom Buck, Best SP, Sandalwood, Apricot, Jasmine. Least Favorites: Royal George, Chocolate Orange
As I haven’t contributed properly to this discussion, let’s have a quick count up as to what’s on my workstation and in my coat pockets. There’s this one where the writing has worn off the label, and there’s that one where the writing has worn off the label, and there’s the another one where the writing has worn… OK, I’ll do it properly, but I do think it’s time they ditched the Letraset for some proper printing. Vanilla (Nice and comforting - not the Ice version). Ice Liqourice (will be around 'til doomsday, brain freeze for me). Peach Melba (occasionally). SP 100. Gold Label (confusingly with the same colour label as usual). Tom Buck. Royal George. Lemon Grove. Aniseed Extra (just had a pinch, to my surprise I may be getting used to it!). SM 500 (S&M more like, not for me I think…). Irish DH Toast No.20. IHT No.22. Cherry Menthol (sometimes, just to see if I’m ready yet). Jockey Club. Best Dark. Brunswick. Cinnamon. And Crumbs of Comfort, the latest half finished tin of which has, like the first tin I had, vanished into whichever dimension half finished tins and half empty ballpoint pens go to…
Disappointing: Sherry: Didn’t notice any Sherry notes at all. I keep trying and hoping, but no: the bottle of sherry must’ve been nothing but dregs when it came time to flavor this. Vanilla: a bit like cake batter, but scarcely any detectable flavor besides. Rum and Blackberry: Definite hints of Blackberry–a curiously “green” flavor–but, no rum detected. More than pleasant: Royal George: This was lovely: complex, rich, creamy flavor. A five-star snuff. Lavender: single-note floral. Not overwhelming in the least. Delivers what it promises. A nice nightcap.
I’ve probably had 60% of them. The grinds are rather disappointing. The majority are a dizzying array of fine grinds. Which I find infinitely tedious.

I ordered this in bulk. Whilst I do love it as a candy snuff and have no aversion to strong menthols, you were right @Xander, it’s a lot more mentholated than I’d remembered. Once the menthol fades, the raspberry lasts ages too, which I like but some folk may not.
Still haven’t tried that one!
More than double than my last post. I am enjoying them more than i have in the past.
