For me it’s around 45-50 and that’s after 3 months, I’m trying to take it easy there’s no need to rush and buy everything. I’ll definitely get more, but my choices are becoming much narrower as I’ve got most of the flavours that appeal to me, I’ve sampled others, I’ve got most of the more popular ones other than ones that aren’t to my liking, and menthols are mostly the same to me.

It’s funny how you first start and think “I’ll just buy a few and then stick with one” and I’m sure some would prefer to not even look at how many they have

And also, does anyone know around how many snuffs there are available in the world right now?

I have about 60 give or take. I only have a few that I use regularly, the rest are just snuffs that I found interesting or leftovers from my search to find the ones I liked enough to buy in bulk.

I have 71 currently. 10 that I buy in bulk.

I have a glass jar with 70 different snuffs mixed together plus about 150 others.  So I’ve either got 220 or 151 snuffs, decide for yourself!!!

@Juxtaposer Thanks for that. I went here http://www.top25snuff.com/en/snuff-list.html and apparantly there’s around 1500 snuffs :D  or maybe less as some aren’t in production anymore. There’s even a snuff called “Cock of the North” which is the first I’ve heard of that

Less than 20. I’m not one of those “I have to try everything on the market” types… I started moderately, pretty much stuck with what I liked (unless I read some outstanding reports about snuff sensations that were alian to me) and pretty much stuck with what I liked.

About 25, but that’s only because I only recently discovered this forum, and so the ones that I absolutely hated on first trial used to go straight in the bin. Now they can go for trades instead

Quite surprised at the modest numbers. What happened to the TAD epidemic that seemed so prevalant among snuffers?

Though I’m sure Mr.Snuff can say around 1000 in his collection.

I’d say I have at least a few hundred, haven’t counted in a year or so.  

Likewise. I stopped counting after 400. I’ve been trying to whittle it down for the last couple of years.

I am afraid to see all of it in one place! Only looking at Oscarwabbit’s obcene collection makes looking at mine tolerable. I expect the producers from the show “hoarders” to be knocking at any time, although I was eventually able to control my TAD after a couple of years. I think that TOM at Nicotine rush named his Hamster after me!

@Theatre, yes I use the snuff.  It’s called KarooStof 70+ and it’s been sitting since Febr 2011.  I took a couple of pinches last week and it is soooo delicious. I have 250g of it, should last quite a while.

Ahhhh…maybe I should have also asked “How many snuffs _ have you owned _?” I was thinking these numbers were rather low.

I go through snuffs very slowly it seems, each of them other than just a few are sample tins, and I still haven’t finshed an entire one off. In fact after 3 months my toque toffee 10 gram tin is the only one coming to being finished, but I guess if I stopped buying them they would run down eventually and I would be left with buying my choice snuffs.

I imagine it will dwindle down to just my favourites I repeatedly buy and the rest as side snuffs to give it variety.

I have 30 something. A lot of them I just keep for guests to sample and possibly buy. I’m continually shocked by how fast my favorites go. 25g tins just won’t do when it comes to the GC anymore. I opened the tin a month ago and I’m already over halfway through. That’s pretty bad if you consider that it’s one of 6 to 8 that I put in my daily rotation. I think Grand Cairo will be my first bulk purchase though I’m a little hesitant to pull the trigger when it seems that WoS can’t make up their minds about what they want it to be. I still have TAD but I haven’t made an order in months. I want to whittle down what I have first so I can justify another order. At one time I had 40 something snuffs but I’m starting to figure out what I like consistently. I figure from what I’ve tried I have a fairly good idea of what new snuffs I should purchase. Although if I ever do make it big in music I’ll order one of everything from mr snuff including bulk of all my favorites. Gotta have dreams.

My snuff purchases initially were made so I could have a sampling of the different styles and grinds available. From that I narrowed down the list to the 10 I want to have on hand. There are a few more that I will buy on occasion but the thought of running out of those does not cause me any concern.

The remaining snuffs in my supply I snuff on occasion. Eventually they will be gone and not replaced.

I’ll try new snuff as it comes out depending on the grind and as long as it is not medicated.

I have 13 right now but I’ve just started. Been waiting impatiently for over 3 weeks for another 15 to come  :-w I find myself browsing Mr Snuff and already have a bunch more in my shopping cart!

I have one 1.15oz tin of Bruton’s Scotch…  and a cumulative ounce of some home ground stuff.  Its not much of a start, but it IS a start I suppose.

I think it’s good to have a snuff shopping spree occassionaly(sp?). When one has enough disposable income.

Close to 100 different snuffs.  I embrace the fact that I must have all the snuff.  It’s an obsession… but if it doesn’t have tobacco in it I’m not interested!
