now heres a thing just thought i would see how many grams i was using so a tin of snuff i opened this morning and i have been hitting it hard very hard by the way it was a 25gm tin. emptied the contents out poped them on the scales and the it came out at 27gms. the Scales are very accurate has anyone else looked at whats in a tin?
What kind of snuff was it? Moister snuffs can be packed into tins and weigh more than 25g. I got lucky and received a tin of F&T Princes that has to be more than 25g. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s twice that.

I weight the empty tin without the lid and when I pop a full tin I weight it without the lid. most the time I come up short. So instead of feeling ripped off I stopped weighing tins. I am just happy I can enjoy snuff from around the planet. SG Tins weight 15.3 without lids so full they should be 40.3 grams. One tin not SG was 8 grams short. So for peace of mind I never weigh them ,I like my serenity and have to think positive to keep it. I don’t watch the news or read the paper and I am OK with that. I know what is going on, I except it won’t change in my benefit. Ignorance is bliss. You can complain till the cows come home it never changes a thing.So enjoy the journey
@basement_shaman Can’t you just hydrate it till it reaches the correct weight?
