How many different snuffs used on a daily basis?

I have acquired a ridiculous amount of different snuffs in the past month from purchases and trades. I have been transporting all of them with me to work everyday so I can use whatever strikes me at that moment. It is starting to get overwhelming and confusing! I’m curious what others do. How many different snuffs will you use on a daily basis? Does anyone stick to just one main snuff?

I try not to carry more than 1/2 dozen but always wish I would of brought one that didn’t make the trip :frowning: Today I brought (2) because of the job I had waiting, finished early and I wished I had more to choose from. Double Drat

I used to carry around between 5 and 10 snuffs with me, now I settle on about 4 at a time - a toast (or scotch or plain SP), a floral/perfume, a menthol and a fancy snuff, like Café 11 or something. Whatever my current favourite is.

Normally take just one to work and use my ecig when there.but when i get home a real mix of allsorts depend on my mood.

In the beginning, say the first year, it was a ridiculous amount. I bought around 50 smash boxes and would have up to that many snuffs on the go. This enabled me to identify quickly my favourites but obviously also led to a lot of stale snuff. In the last two years I’ve cut it down from anywhere from 4-9 snuffs. I generally make up a rotation that will last 4-7 days using up to 9 smash boxes. Some days ill snuff up to 30 grams, other days it’s as little as 5 grams, but I find the snuff stays fresh for up to a week in smash boxes so that’s the maximum length ill make my rotations last.

This sounds like a good plan.

I usually carry 3 - 4. One toasted/scotch, one mentholated, one plain/fruit, and one I don’t like to let my boss use.

I do about 4 or 5 with me on any given day. I always have 1 menthol, McChrystal O@G, and rotate 2 or 3 around those. Theres a thread here called “What’s in your rotation today?”, and its interesting to see how people’s tastes vary from day to day.

I must be extremely boring as I only use 2 or 3 different snuffs per day and sometimes only 1. I sometimes mix things up a bit in the evening - and I do like the option of having a variety in my snuff drawer - but having identified some firm favourites those are the ones I carry with me.

Hmm. Well looking in my drawer here at work I see 37 different… In my day pack I carry around I have… 21 between 1 - 3 in every coat, at least 1 in each pair of jeans and at home well, won’t even go there.

@stogie We know you must carry a case full of different snuffs lol

@MatteFox…Seems like it at times. I figure it is part of my weight lifting routine…

Can’t get enough exercise and what a great way to work out

I usually have 6-10 snuffs in my " tool bag" for work. I took tools out to make room. There are priorities after all. >:)

True that!! #:-S

I used to carry 10 now I limit myself to 3, when I get home the sky the limit .And what ever strikes me at that moment. Rotation is important you can keep an eye on your investment, And your nose doesn’t get bored. You need a break from your favorites and then you like them more when you get back to them. I usually carry a medicated, a moist and a dry . or all one style or many different styles. English , Indian, American, Polish, Dutch, German, African. Yes it does get confusing what choices to make. So roll the dice. flip a coin.or make a rotation schedule

Between 8 and 10 a day. Variety is the snuff of life.

I keep it simple at work, since I’m not supposed to have any at all (tobacco-free workplace, right…), I usually bring one small box with enough to get me through the day. Otherwise I usually tote around 4-5 tins in a small case that fits my jacket pocket. Got pulled over by the police today, and had a flip box full of Sparrow Cool sitting in the console of my Civic. Naturally, the officer wanted to know what was in it…he got the weirdest look on his face when I told him what it was. Didn’t believe me, of course, but when he picked up the box and smelled it he figured it out. We ended up having a nice discussion on the benefits of snuffing vs. smoking, and I didn’t get a citation.

Out and about: 5-10 (depends on the size of the tins etc- shirt pockets make life better), at home: virtually unlimited

I guess I’m just boring. I take one snuff with me to work. Usually 2 types of snus. At home I generally have 2-3 open tins and work my way through them before opening more. When I started snuff I’d have a bunch, okay all, of my tins open, but after losing several to excessive drying I stopped and limited myself. Of course my newest obsession with Abraxas FireDrac has made it much simpler.
