How long have you used snuff, and How many have you tried? You could just list just the brands you’ve tried more of, Just to give an idea of your experience. I have been snuffing for about 3 months. I’ve tried a few F&T a few from American, of WoS I have maybe 5, and some others…

I’ve tried - all toques - all mychrystals - very nearly all wos - most SG - most FUBAR - most Swisher - most conwood - all USST - all temptation - all wow - most dholakia - about half of molens - a few Bernards - nearly all poschl - all Hogarth - about half of 6 photo - nearly all Viking - all sterneker - couple abraxas - all wilson’s - hedges - all f&t I have favourites from all of those makers. don’t like poschl much except for their schmalzers
I´m a 8 months old (young ? )snuffer, and I have 66 different flavours , mainly Toque, WoS ,Sam Gawith, Bernard, Molens and few others (in order of preponderance in my stash) . Still a lot to sample, but I must keep my TAD under control. So much snuff so small time… (and money :(( ) .

I’ve been snuffing about 5 years now. I’ve tried over 200. I can’t even remember a lot of them but I remember the ones I loved and the ones I hated. The ones in the middle just add variety to my stash.
I have been using snuff on and off for 15 years, I have tried all the toques and almost every WoS and SG, all the F&Ts and a good handful of GH. I used to use snuff to compliment smoking and for times when I couldn’t smoke. I had my snuffs I liked and used most of the time, WoS Best SP, CoC, PM, FC and Morliax, F&T Old Paris, HDT, FC and Dr JR Justice, SG Elmos Reserve and Irish D Light, Hedges when I was stuffed up. Then I discovered snus and stopped smoking and went on a snuff discovery again, my usual snuffs were better and I picked up scents in others I never could get before. I only discovered Toque last year (would you believe!) and found that fruity snuffs could be great! So my snuffs went from my usual 8 or so tins which were used regularly for 10 years, to now where I have probably over 100 different snuffs. I still stay true to my usual snuffs but if I feel like a change I go to my box and pick out a different one. Even after 15 years I am still finding new ones, its why I love snuff (and snus!).
30 odd years as a regular and next to nothing in terms of collection; some original Smith’s and Fribourg’s snuffs is about it and various dried out tins that turn up down the back of chairs.
Not quite two weeks yet. So far I have some WoS Apple, Cherry Menthol and Chocolate Orange, some J & H Wilson Medicated, a little tub of Ozona Raspberry and lastly some SG Elmo’s Reserve. And a MASSIVE list of things I want to try thanks to this website!
Thirty years off and on, but I’ve never kept track of the ones I’ve tried. I’m currently revisiting some I tried some years ago. I currently have 16 varied containers in my tobacco drawer.
I’m 53 and have drifted in and out of snuffing since I was about 16 or 17. Started off with J&H Wilson’s Sp, Top Mill and Medicated 99, and assumed they were the only people making it as I never saw any other brand in newsagents, and after a few years forgot all about snuff. About six or seven years ago I was on holiday and saw some in a newsagents, and bought some WoS Crumbs of Comfort, and McChrystal’s S’Nuff (so there were other brands!), enjoyed those for a while then drifted out of it again. A few months ago I found the tin of S’Nuff again, and it still works pretty good, the scent is still there, got some when I was up in Colne, Lancashire from an excellent little shop called Rennie Goth, and had a look online and discovered SnuffStore. I now have about thirty different snuffs, and enjoy most of them except the menthol ones, they just bung me right up. Incidentally, I found one of the little blue J&H SP. No.1 tins a while ago, no idea how long I’ve had it but the scent is entirely gone. I’ve added some of it to a tin of WoS Ice Liqourice to try to calm it down a bit. So, I would say I’ve been snuffing for about three years, but over a 36 year period!

I have snuffed for four years now. I am afraid to gather it all into one location, as doing so will force me to confront my worst assumptions, seeing first hand what a bad TAD problem can lead to… I am disturbed enough all ready. I only wish I was kidding, seeing obscene collections on the “show me” thread was once a source of comfort that I was not the only one. I have successfully broken my processed tobacco TAD, but I believe my bulk whole leaf variety tobacco collection has become far worse. At least my wife is slowly using it up. A hundred pounds of tobacco is a little odd, and the snus freezer is just impossible to deal with. I need help! And more Thuc Lao…
The question should be “which snuffs haven’t you tried yet”. I’ve tried well over two hundred but I’m not as seasoned as some other vets here. Its a fun journey and I’m still hard at work trying more snuff
Only a few weeks for me, absolutely love the stuff, it was such a great decision to try it! Got Wilson’s of Sharrow SM500 (the first snuff that i never liked at the start and now use as a during the day snuff), Irish toast no 22 which is great, and the best SP. Placing an order soon of loads of other types, one im curious about called “Bernard Klostermischung” which will be a completely random guess order as the name tells me nothing about what its like!!
I’ve been snuffing for a little over a year. My supply keeps dwindling as I try to fight my TAD. I’m trying to whittle it down to a few choice kinds so i can buy enough for the zombie apocalypse, and the rest will be small container enjoyments.
I’ve been snuffing daily for about 2.5 years. I guess I’ve bought between 100 and 200 different kinds of snuff. Some of them I know I will never finish (I’m looking at you, Buttercup snuff), but I won’t throw it out because I like the packaging. I generally prefer the British snuffs for snuffing, but aesthetically I love the American scotch cans (and, when I really need a jolt of nicotine, a belt of Three Thistle or Square go down (up) nicely).
Well, just read the entire thread and come to the conclusion. I am totally normal! As a nicotine fiend goes. Some earth people just don’t get it.
Snuffing daily for a few months… Going on about 4 months. I haven’t counted my tins, but I’m guessing about 20, counting extra tins of Gletscher Prise, Gawith Apricot and President. And I got a bunch of samples from @snuffsniffer. I think I have enough for a year, but I’ve got TAD pretty badly and just placed another order with MrSnuff today (and another order of pipe tobacco with smoking pipes.com)
