How long have you been snuffing and on this site ??

I just had to change my login from “magicdust” to snuffmaster60, no it’s not my age. I have been on this site for 4 years and snuffing 6. I can’t believe the changes that have happen and that short time. Can not order from the states and it gets harder to locate snuff at the stores. But my taste has gotten narrower and simpler. How about you guys?

Well I first took snuff on the 20th March 2014 and I think I joined this forum on the same day. I am loving every moment of discovering this elegant art form and its many benefits.

I’ve snuffed off and on for a number of years, but started getting more involved with my snuff taking interests about a year ago. Lurked on the forum for a long while, but joined up this past April. Glad I did as it has opened up a whole new world of snuff for me.

Since 1972…Dr. Rumney’s Mentholyptus 1/2 ounce flip top tins. Switched to Dean Swift in 1 oz tubes in '76-ish. On this site as a phantom for a while.

I got hooked on snuff instantly about two years and a half ago, and been on this beautiful meeting point with fellow snuffers for about two years. It´s great to be here!

I just got my two year badge on this site, snuffing for a couple of months longer than that. Very glad to have stopped smoking and so easily. Happy to be part of this fascinating community.

Twelve years of snuffing – of which seven years here.

30 May 2012 i ordered my first snuff, GH Cherry, from black swan- still love it. got it on an order with a xikar humidifier tube and a cigar cutter. kept coming back here since its where most of the info was and joined january 2013. interesting looking at my order history haha… ive been a low (relatively to a lot of members here) quantity snuffer, a few pinches a day usually since, with periods of heavier use and the odd day of no use.

About five years ago I collected over twenty pounds of various tobaccos including snuffs. The changes in these tobaccos are of my own design and yes at times instantaneous. If I need a new snuff then I will make it! I’m reminded now to make another batch of Asthoreth.

2 and 1/2 years snuffing and 2 years on this site. Jeez i wish i had discovered it earlier (actually i did try some in Europe in my early 20’s but completely forgot about it until nearly 20 years later). It’s a crime that snuff is not heavily promoted as a smoking cessation product rather than banned in some countries or taxed heavily. (yeh, i know you lucky buggars in the UK don’t pay no stinking tax on your snuff).

Snuffing for only about a year. Joined this forum within hours of receiving my first tentative order, which was for one small tin of Toque Quit and another of Abraxas Premium Coarse.

That made me laugh? I realise we are indeed lucky and I hope one day your vile persecution will be crushed. You can blame the Boston Tea Party? Lets just say I smoked to long when I could have been snuffing. I’ll never get those years back but I’m still happy that I finally arrived. It’s never to late.

Yes I know a lot of guys start snuffing to quit smoking the funny thing is I never smoked. I started from smoking on occasion a cigar or two. Just always liked the smell of tobacco. Its a different way of partaking the use of tobacco but I do enjoy it, Its more a hobby for me then a need. I think if they got the word out more about the use of nasal snuff and try to educate the people about the benefits and difference between cigs and nasal tobacco you would see a growth in snuffing. Keep on snuffing !!!

I don’t remember my order having tax. I also don’t read the price when I order. I just get a feel for it then buy it. Gonna snuff it all some time.

I think you are 60, mate. No sense in being embarrassed of age an all that-- :))

Joined the site Sept 2010, been snuffing since I was 16, so 2004.

OK I was born in 1960,now you know…

Taking snuff for perhaps eight to ten months. Used it years back but for some silly reason I went to cigarettes and then to snuss. Joined the site around eight months ago.

Snuffing off and on since 1993. First day on this site.

Snuffing regularly (with some periods of dipping/snusing/smoking) since I was 19 so like three years, I joined here right around when I started snuffing a lot. I’ve gotten used to it is the best I can say. I get nose-hungry. I’ve settled into favorites - or at least favorite *classes* - and I don’t spend as much snuffing-time experimenting with new ones.
