Ive looked, cant see any other skins. With the default black, I can’t see who has posted what and lots of other info unless I run my mouse over it. This skin sucks, sorry, dont wish to offend, but it really does. It’s difficult to read.

I agree. Much too hard to read some things. Hopefully it can be changed to contrast better and be easier on the eyes.

Glad other forum members agree. Really, no offence intended. I notice it more I guess because I use the site from the iphone (where things are actually clearer in a white skin) and find the site harder to read on the computer with the default black skin. I was really wondering if it’s possible to have the iphone’s white skin on the computer? lol

Is this not the same black skin it always had? I’ve aways liked it.

yea Alex did a great job matching the colors [or lack of] to the original site. It was hard to read then also. But I never complain, just ask my wife.

White on black is much softer on the eyes. I’ve adjusted my screen so that I have a grey background. And I’m getting it for free, so I can’t complain.

Is the skin even changeable? You guys could always try turning up screen brightness if its that bad.

Try to adjust the zoomlevel to 125 % or higher, maybe that helps. Jaap Bes

I disagree re:the skin.  The black skin made reading much easier.  Now that it is a glaring hideous white I get my business done and get the heck out of Dodge so I don’t have to endure more of it than I have to.  With the black skin I would lounge around for a bit since it was comfortable to do so.  It’s one of the seven hundred changes to the forum I don’t care for.

I find black letters on a light background much easier on my eyes than the opposite.   I would prefer something other than white though.   A sand color would be good.

LOL, true an off-color would also be preferable, as you observed.  White’s just a bit much-ish imho
