There have been a few threads recently with people wanting to organise meets in local areas etc, but what about an annual Snuff Festival. Going for a night can be a hassle with transport, maybe people people want to have a few drinks but have to drive etc. Imagine doing a weekend pitch a tent or bring a caravan stay in local B&B whatever. We seem to have quite a few muscians so maybe some music, barbecue, beer tent and an even bigger snuff tent of course add to that some nice scenery and it sounds quite good to me. I would certainly travel for a weekend where i would not for an evening.
Maybe divide the USA into 4 parts and have like Northeast Snuffstock, etc. Rent a hall, have vendors etc. This could be done, but I think one would 1st have to organize a group of people to arrange it, and figure out what it’d cost, etc.
Well i am in the UK but the idea remains the same anywhere US or Uk as long as there is enough interested people and providing the event is organised well it could be great fun. Buying more snuff would definately be necessary as well.
Could be interesting. Maybe we can do a poll to see where we all live. Then figure the best locations/time/date/etc.

Actually, I think a better idea is, and I don’t know if such a thing exists, but a World Federation of Smokeless Tobacco, which could be a membership, newsletter, adverts, manufacturers, distributers, ect, that could actually have inter-national conventions, that would associate the whole smokeless world, being nasal snuff, snus, dip, and chew. I think such an approach would be more doable, with it’s large numbers than just a snuff convention, with maybe 25 people.
I was actually thinking along the lines of something a little more personal with say the organisers maybe getting some manufacturers to submit custom made snuff only available at the event. Life can be a little easy in modern times for example take Spanish Jewel everyone wants it because nobody can get it. Spanish Gem however is a fantastic snuff but it just doesn’t have the same hype or generate the same desire because at the click of your mouse you can have as much as you want. This would motivate people to attend and put real brown crusty faces to names and hopefully have a good time in the process and if snuff was only available for the event my wife wouldn’t be able to moan about me buying it, brilliant. Actually a Snuff Festival is quite a mad idea to start with and would really require a lot of effort to make it work but somewhere in amongst the madness is a seed which if nutured could bear fruit for us all.
Nice idea - but realistically it would just be the members of this forum living in the US getting together - the rest of us have no realistic chance of going, due to expenses, work etc etc…

i’m in the west of scotland but if a train/bus can take me there i’ll go (money permitting)… although i was wanting to go to rotterdam or eindhoven as a cheaper alternative to a holiday in amsterdam at some point anyway
